Why is this in the game? Someone from SDS explain this? Why not just always have the pitches show in screen. Just be honest you leave stuff like this in here to cater into the losers that want to play cheesy.
Stop quick pitching
There is no such thing as quick pitching in this game. Either you’re ready or you’re not. Pitchers dictate the pace of play.
Wth you talking about their is definitely quick pitching. And I don’t press r2 other than the first batter or so to see the pitches, then I won’t
"Quick pitching" implies pitching before a batter is even settled in and ready. A real thing in real baseball, but not in a video game. If it's so bad, then call time or pause. Much better than R2ing and throwing off a pitcher.
No in game quick pitching is selecting a pitch before batter can use any option available, like R3 R2 or a practice swing for there batter. Once a pitch is selected the batter cannot use those options at all. Therefore people hit R2 so they can check how fielders are setup.
You need to check how the defense is set up? Why? Your moving your pci in a certain spot for a certain pitch to try to hit it a certain way to beat the defense? Because if you are that good you don’t need that lmfao.
You’re holding r2 to mess with your opponent and nothing else.
And youre fighting tooth and nail to keep the only way you can troll your opponent for being better than you.

The million dollar question I have, reading all the opinions of the R2 supporters, is how do you pitch? Coming fully set? 20 seconds in between pitches, squinting in at the signs? Doubt it. R2 is complete and utter gamesmanship. It's a vs CPU tool only, legitimately. Let's get that pitch history up on the screen for the batter during the walk-up, and then let's get on with it. Don't like the pitcher's pace? Step out.

How you read my post is a reflection of you not me. I’m giving you a tip that counters the argument that holding r2 stops “quick pitching”. No matter how you say it taking out R2 will make way more people happy than people who are upset that it is removed.

So how long do you need to meditate in between pitches. 2 seconds? 3 seconds? Wtf are you even doing between pitches? Because I guarantee if I start holding R2 on you then your worry about quick pitching melts away so fast.
I don't do either. But i know that people who press R2 have a reason but the one who hold it don't. So i'm defending those who don't abuse it. There is a place in the game for it. If you read my previous post it explains.

Yep already post to that one. If you are able to read the defense set up and pick a pitch to place your pci on in such a way to beat said defense you are good enough you don’t need it. This is an excuse to keep a way to troll your opponent nothing else.
You didn't read it right then if that's what you took away from that. I said once pitcher selects pitch the batter cannot even use the R3 check fielders option. That is what "true quick pitch does" not the slidestep that some are referring too.

Just have the pitches from previous ABs pop up like hot zones. Then all the dudes fake whining about that could see their pitches. Put the pitchers pitches on the right side down of the screen at all times. Why not? Hell put the batters stats there too.

You sure seem angry and taking it personal for not using any of it. I say you’re a liar. Anybody with half a brain cell can tell you obviously use this stuff online. Its time for it all to go. It’s just time. Build in all the stuff you claim you need to see pre pitch in the hud and remove your trolling tactics.
And I couldn’t care less if you block me as long as sds removes all the things you use to troll your opponents online. It’s time for R2 and r3 to go.

There's way more people who are quick pitch spamming, than there are of us who maliciously hold R2.

It’s a 45 minute game without holding all this stuff. There’s always offline stuff only. Hopefully they keep pushing out more content offline. Need a new TA program. Would love to see a new repeatable big conquest with solid rewards maybe something tied in to repeatable for xp and rewards. Add 10-15k xp for the big conquest map or something. It sucks but you can’t hold everybody hostage with something people use as a troll tactic online. If it was never there you wouldn’t have people openly requesting a way to hold up pitchers every AB.
I don’t even think if you had a second delay on being able to pitch with ability to toggle that off you would see people complaining. It’s the ability to hold people up that already selected the pitch and tried to start their wind up.

45 minutes when a real baseball game is 3 hours, gasp.
45 minutes when (previous games) literally stated that it's a 45 minute game mode.
I'm not holding anyone hostage. I'm making sure I get my fair chance to take a swing at a pitch that I can see with a clear brain in a key spot. You have the same chance to do the same.
It's amazing how it's always "dont' like it? play offline" to the people who hold R2 but never ever is that comment ever made to those who quick pitch.
