No. There is a bug that causes the game to say "new" on the cards even when owned. Been playing this game for years and it happened to me as well, not everyone is a moron.

No. There is a bug that causes the game to say "new" on the cards even when owned. Been playing this game for years and it happened to me as well, not everyone is a moron.
I just assumed he was cus his username is fifalife HaHa sorry not sorry

I've never understood how they even allow this to happen. For a program such as that where cards are not sellable and you need all of them to complete something, they should not be selectable once they are already in your inventory.
Having said that, I also have no idea how anyone makes this mistake when it clearly shows you what you already have but I digress lol
Hey every time I turn the wheel my car goes in the ditch, can you not make it turn? How can people not know which card they already have? Go in your inventory before opening if you’re not sure / have the brain of a gold fish
It also tells you NEW and if you have it already it says 1. Some people are just quick to select.

They could remedy this by making an exchange set for each division. Simply add the 42 card that you no longer need and maybe any gold player, and get another 42 card from the same division.
I chose a uni 2x and hoping that I can someday do that for the 1 I won't get

Despite SDS's best efforts to deny me World Series (by not fixing this bug after I reported it about 3 weeks ago), I made World Series last night for the first time ever. However, I had the Jackie 99 card in BR ...and am hitting insane with him, so would sure love for SDS to fix this issue ASAP/in the next patch upgrade. This issue affects a fair number of us. Please fix this SDS.

relax. They are releasing those 42 packs eventually on the XP path or conquest maps. Might take another 2-3 months for that to happen but eventually everyone will have Jackie when they release those free packs.
There's no way I can see that happening. Any 42 packs will only have the legends like the pre-order packs did. These will be just like the stage one cards last year that were never obtainable any other way.
Exactly. If they put packs out that will be guaranteed quick sell value for most people, that will be annoying. Maybe put them in the market for each division so these guys can finish it . 5k a pack for 1 choice in the said division.

Anyway, I think it should be slightly better defined which card you have and which you don't. Right now it's a tiny green tab that says "NEW" or "x1" etc in this tiny font that's unreasonably smaller than the rest of the fonts in the game. Not everyone plays on a 420 inch 6900p TV -

Not everyone plays on a 420 inch 6900p TVI play on a 24'' monitor, I have no issues seeing what cards I already have. Like, if you can't see, move closer to the screen before making a selection? This is only caused by people going too fast, or playing while ingesting liquid bread. Both of those scenarios are user error. SDS has done a lot of things wrong, this isn't one of them.

With millions of people playing there will be user error. Even on this small portion of the community on these boards, it keeps popping up. SDS should not make it an option to select an item that you have already collected in this type of situation. I am not sure why you are so against this. People make mistakes. It is going to happen.

I shouldn't admit this as it's actually quite embarrassing given that I already commented on this, but last night I set my controller down to walk the dog and my daughter picked me another gold Alfonso Soriano. Obviously I shouldn't have left it in that screen but yeah, there's another scenario for ya lol.

Stop defending their mistakes. The font is objectively too small in that particular spot. Even if there is a natural workaround outside of the game, this does not mean that SDS should leave it as is

I'm not defending anything, especially not this year with the [censored] they've given us. But, if you don't look at your screen and read, I can't really blame anyone else. It's the same as students blaming teachers when the student didn't read the directions clearly printed on the top of the page.

I hope SDS fixes this in the 1.08 release, as I opened the bug over 3 weeks ago now. I am hitting over .500 with Jackie in BR and so want him on my Ranked team for this season. This bug is really frustrating me.

I agree 42 packs in Conquest etc will be the preorder ones. But because this has been a somewhat prevalent issue I would not be surprised if they put 1 42 pack early in each div for TA2 so that ppl that have chosen an extra one can get the one they didn't chose.

Yo SDS...just so you know....that Kyle Seager card you just released does NOT fix the Jackie collection bug if that was what you were trying to fix by releasing that card. The Kyle Seager card won't even sniff my lineup. TBH...that card doesn't even get me excited to play ranked this season. Will I play ranked anyway? Probably....yet not for Seager card ....and definitely glad the "Sell" button bug is fixed... so I can sell Seager. I'd hate to be stuck with that card.
