Way more than just faster loading times in my opinion. I guess I would consider the stable frame rates and actually being able to enjoy the game at 4K/60fps a big plus as well.

    agreed

Yeah kinda forgot that MLB parks are now viable alternatives to minor league parks on new gen

The game is much smoother on the PlayStation 5. You can actually play in MLB stadiums with zero lag or choppiness. Load times are extremely fast. Stadium Creator is a gimmick and not worth it in my opinion. Also remember that the PlayStation 5 will be the console for the next eight to ten years so you just got a free one. Eventually you will end up buying one whether it's in a year or two. I would keep it

    I haven’t played the PS4 version but I don’t think it’s that much of a difference.

I have both consoles and XBox One S. PS5 plays the smoothest and by a lot.

Today's Black and White moment for instance, was like swinging underwater on the PS4.

I'm not sure why this is even a question. Take the ps5 put it on eBay and make some money. Then save some of that and buy a ps5 for the next cycles game.

Don’t know what they changed to servers this year, but have played a couple of road games in MLB parks in RS and had very few lags on PS4

I’d take the console, if only to avoid the headache of getting my hands on one down the road; maybe by the holidays this year production will have ramped back up with the vaxx rollout starting to pay off.

I started 21 on 4 and switched to 5 about a week later. Much much better IMO but I also upgraded to a TV with monitor specs. The players literally look like little people inside the TV. Make the switch if you can get a 5.

I still have what appear to be dropped frames intermittently on my PS5. Extremely hard to hit Lee Smith when I lose some frames in his delivery. I dont have the issue playing Wreckfest or Astros Playroom.

Biggest thing is the load times. Gameplay seems a little more fluid than last year.

How much better is the game on a PS5 compared to a PS4?

I wasn't planning on switching over; because I didn't think it would be worth it to buy a new console for only one game; but I won a diskless PS5 through a work contest and I can either take the console or take a cash value.

Debating if I want the console or the cash.

1 millions times better for me. Maybe it was my old PS4 controller, but everything just runs so smooth.

Keep the [censored] ps5. It’s well worth it. The system as a whole is leaps and bounds better. Just going thru the menus or store on ps5 you’ll notice how slow the ps4 really is.
