Hardest pitcher to hit

Lee Smith in the 2nd inning Showdown!!!
I mean, I swung at two inside pitches as a lefty yesterday that I still have nightmares about.
What I do is make a custom roster to face in BP that has the nastiest or toughest pitchers for me and load that up to practice on HOF and up.
Some of those are:
Cliff Lee
Fernando
Mike Scott
Niekro
Vida Blue
Cole
Orel and some I can't think of atm.
It definitely helps a bit. -

I don’t like pitchers whose high fastballs seem to rise. Wagner is like this and so is Corbin. Wagner is short but I don’t know about Corbin. Maybe height has something to do with it.

Wait until they drop the 99 Wagner later. The 91 is nothing compared to his end game version if it’s anything like years past.

I can’t see Aroldis pitches at all. Something messes with my eye or something. I might at well put the controller down when he comes in.

I played against Tanana for the first time and I couldn’t pick him up. His fast ball mixed with that CB, slurve and change up is filthy. Then the balls I did get a hold of were directly at defenders was definitely the most challenging pitcher I’ve faced so far.

I don’t know I just played glavine online and dudes sweeping curve is super hard to lay off after a sinker

I have to agree with this. Haven’t faced Wagner but I have struggled to hit Corbin. I feel like he tunnels all his pitches.

Control is kind of all over the place, until he needs a perfect pitch and bam….ugly change of speeds too.

I’ve seen people being no hit and getting only 1 hit against him on HOF

Kopech had me so flustered in Showdown that I only attempted it once and never went back to it. 102 heat can be timed up but even the hanging curve down the middle I could just never wait long enough on. Had 5 no doubt HR but 4 were pulled foul. Still lost, LOL.

Ill also add any pitcher with a submarine style. There is a guy for the Giants I think he is a common that even in conquest, i cant hit. I just cant see the ball coming out of the centerfield fence.

This year Valenzuela, and Chapman for some reason. But last year that [censored] Cueto card for some reason I couldn’t hit him to save my life and he was what? A 92?
