Is it only PlayStation users having issues?
No, I'm on Xbox and game screen gone blank during games 3 times, had to restart everytime. Had to restart Xbox once has it shut down when game screen went blank. It ain't good.

PS5 user here. I was experiencing the same issues every second or third series. Here is the solution that has worked for me so far. I created a new season and renamed the save to have a fresh save file. Deleted all other RTTS save files in file management and then went back to the newly created one. I then removed all equipment from my CAP and resaved with zero equipment. Then reloaded all equipment back on my CAP and again resaved. I have not had a crash since and I have made it clear to the majors where I have played about 8-10 series without crash. I am not sure what step actually fixed it but I hope this helps.

A good tip. Hopefully the properly fix it sooner rather than later - but at least you can play if you start again.

Same here. Just played most of May in AA (Again) Froze with me on second base. Waited 30 seconds then blue screen "Do I want to send an error report to Sony?"
No - already done it multiple time today. So no thanks.
Quit and will not be coming back to the game any time soon.

@Dscott3984 I legit just got promoted to MLB from AAA and started having crashes. I'm more than convinced that the game does not crash when in the minors and the minute you make the majors its unplayable.

Agreed, minors were fine for me.

My first save was fine through the minors.
Started crashing my first series in the Majors. Latest one started after my manager had a chat with me about "We're keeping an eye on you" Which might be a hidden promotion step?

Didn't have a crash problem until new update. Now all it does is freeze and crash. Play a game. Freeze. Play 2 games. Freeze then crash. Continuous cycle. Very very frustrating for a game I love and one I've waited for for a long long time.

There are many on here that are unable to connect into any online game and we still have not heard anything about this from SDS. Every time you get connected in matchmaking after about 5 seconds it disconnects and says, "Challenge Failed." This is extremely frustrating for this to be going on for 4 weeks now to pay for a game and not be able to play anything online. This has been reported by many people and I'm sure you are aware of this bug. It would be greatly appreciated by us if you could give us an update of what is going on and if any fixes are on the way..

I was having the same problem, play 1 game then crash the next. I figured out a way around the issue. Instead of going to play next game, go back to the club house. It takes a little longer sure, but I haven't had another game freeze then crash my xbox since. Hope this helps other until the fix comes out

I was having the crashing issue.
Just have to return to club house after every game. Seems to be an issue after a game when you select play next game. Then it usually crashes next game.
I struggled hard with crashes all day and started doing the return to clubhouse after each game and it hasn’t crashed.
However to get my progressions I have to do the diamond dynasty work around, play a game, get the first at bat then back out and it progresses my ballplayer after that in RTTS -
Seems freeze/crash only occurs in RTTS and only when a player is a batter, and only when they make MLB level.
I've tried all sorts of other games and modes to get it to crash. I can play in the minors right up until I get promoted to MLB.
I can play Diamond Dynasty games and tried that and a few others.
When I go back to RTTS with my MLB save it freeze/crashes during one of the first 2 or 3 games. When I progress from AAA to MLB with another player it plays fine until I get to MLB, then it crashes. If I stay in AA or AAA it plays fine -

I have found that being a pitcher only in RTTS, I don’t get the crashes or the weird coach heads. I had an old save of one in AAA and got called up to MLB and have played multiple games without an issue.
So until they push out a fix, get to work on progressing your pitcher stats

This 100% stopped crashes for me.

I sometimes get a guy in the dugout with a squashed/malformed head. the face is offset below the nose by about half a head's width I think?
I didn't screengrab it. That's as well as the pure white mannequin heads. Pretty sure both of those things didn't happen before 1.05 -
After the update my archetype isn't progressing, even with the work around. Pitching has never progressed a single point. Game will freeze and crash after 4 or 5 games and now every now and again the players have white heads like a mannequin.
