I was perfect with Fernando through 7 and the kid quit up 4-0 on me. I get being upset

I've thrown 9 inn perfect games online before. It only happens against people who are Awful..... There isn't much to be proud of, I can tell you that much

They should have a penalty of some sort for quitting out of a ranked game. Unfortunately Idk if they would implement it because people don't want to finish a game after falling behind 8-0. I've lost perfect games and i dont think to many ppl will throw them online bc most the time people will quit after 7 innings. Also its kind of nice when someone quits bc you get a game over with instead of playing out someone you are beating the breaks off of lol.

If they are losing 8-0 why didn't mercy rule kick in? Isn't that when down by 5 or 6? Regardless implementing might detour it from happening as often is my point.

Punishment for quitting in video games is always bad idea. When someone is losing a lot after couple of innings, why to be punished for saving time for both players?

I was down 2-0 in seventh to degrom gettin no hit on one of my first CS games where the pci shrinks .. so I got a drag bunt hit with ohtani homered with Bellinger and hit a solo shot a few inings later in extras to win.. it's all in the game ,🧨 sure I felt a little bad but not as bad as I would have felt losing hahaaha

It's not about being proud. I wasn't going to have a post game conference, have cold water spilt on me, nor make ESPN. I do not care how awful you think the player was, a perfect game isn't easy to accomplish.
It's a shame that the spectrum of online temperament is so wide.
People are either the tough guy behind a keyboard or temper-tantrum throwing toddler. This goes back to my OP: it's called online competition, not online winning. If you fire-up your system for competition, be ready for both outcomes, a win or a loss. Raging over someone getting a win over you in a situation you walked into is wrong. -

Right, you accomplished drag bunt with a dude who has 84 speed. You were not bunt dancing with one-out, no one on, and with a 37 speed player (Vlad Jr) who btw CRUSHES RHP.

Hey OP i appreciate the fact that you would hang in there and finish the game. So would I, I always finish my games. I scored 7 runs in bottom of third BR game the other day to tie before winning in the 4th. Thats why I don't like to just quit. However over the years I've had a ton of perfect games ruined by people quitting. Its sad but I almost expect them to anymore. Just saying I wouldn't get my hopes up that it doesn't happen next time as well.
