Dedicated users should hit 350k without an issue.
Hardcore users (or exploiters) will easily hit 650 in a week or less.
Average users will still get to 350k, but it might take longer than 2-3 weeks.
Breaking News... SDS releases content each inning that pushes the average user to 350k before the Inning is over.
People should spend less time complaining and contemplating negative outcomes. Take time away from the boards and go play the game for a week after content drop, then come back.
TBH- All I see is people complaining for the sake of complaining, because attempting to create conflict where none exists, is all you know.
I was at 70-80 hours in the first inning, and without double xp and the 100k at the end I would have been borderline to even get 350k.
I had 90 hours, didn't do any of the exploiting stuff. Barely touched BR and the event. Close to 25 ranked games.
Hit 650 with 5 days to spare. Didn't even need the free 100k from the last minute collection.
TBH, you don't seem efficient with your time in DD.

Didn't like the HOF game play at all. Tanked from 850 to 400
Shouldn't you play a different mode then? Maybe unranked? Maybe offline modes?
You were something like 34 and 11 before you started tanking. Sounds like you just want to stay in a lower league so you can dominate opponents.
I just want to have a fun gaming experience. When a former pro baseball player can't react or recognize pitches, there is something else wrong. Just as I have been saying for years. I could hit a 95 mph fastball irl but not on a video game. OK. Connections are still screwed up and have been for years. So, I will do what I want to make the game fun for me. Can't remember my record last year but I quit out of like 200+ games. I would rather have fun than to play 9 innings of a video gam where I can't react or recognize pitches. I stopped caring about my record last year.
Dominate opponents? LOL. I was using a gold and silver lineup.

1 big inning can get you 1k in XP.
1 big inning. LOL. I get excited scoring 1 run on HOF. Simply can't react or recognize pitches. I have hit so many balls in the PCI for no hits it is laughable. I honestly think I have 3 HR's in my last 10 RS games and they were Dejong, Lofton and Felix Hernandez. Oh, I think Trout may have 1 or 2. Feels like the rest of my lineup has 30 power. I have to hit it perfect to get a HR. 1/100th of a millimeter off perfect nets me a routine fly ball almost every time.
Just another MLB game where I don't feel rewarded. I'll tank and go back down to 400 again just like last year so I can actually enjoy the game. Use different cards and such.
Yeah, like I said maybe I just suck, but I must not be awful because I usually sit around 600-750.
Again though, maybe all these guys are putting up 10 runs in hall of fame, but on no plant do I see 6-9k of xp per ranked game being normal.
Didn't like the HOF game play at all. Tanked from 850 to 400. I had more fun last year using different cards. After I went to 400 one of the program missions is 21 runs with rookie, breakout and prospect cards. So I loaded my lineup with all my silver and gold rookie and breakout cards. Of course I faced Burnes again for the 20th time already. Won like 6-2 and got 6 runs for that mission. Probably the most fun I have had playing this game. I will continue to load up my RS team for missions and dailies. When I get to the rank I can't complete any of these I will tank back down. Way more fun than playing on HOF.
Also sold all my cards like Brett, Hershiser, Seaver and some others and started on collections since I have never done them until the last few months before the next one. Already got Braves and the NL west done. Gonna take a
while on that though. Think my competitive days are done on this game. Play just to have fun now.intentionally losing to play people that are a lesser skill than you is the softest BS i think ive seen someone post on here. So bc you dont want a challenge you decide to potentially ruin another players experience. Youre a clown
I thought HOF would be fun and challenging so I bought cards that I thought would help me in that division. It was not. I couldn't hit the ball or get rewarded when I did. Why would I play a game I paid for where I couldn't score runs? Games were lasting less than 30 minutes because usually neither of us would hit and the game would come down to who got the bs or the lucky swing for a HR. One game I played the only scores in the game were HR's by Lofton and Felix Hernandez. Fluke HR's. I could not hit at the HOF level regardless of the reason. I could certainly pitch at a WS level but if someone scored a couple of runs I was done. Sorry but that just isn't fun. I want to have fun. I may lose my next games trying to do the gold and silver missions but I don't care. It will still be more fun. A game where I was using silver Zunino, gold Rollins and Biggio, etc at the all star level was more fun than playing with Brett, Trout, Lofton, etc on HOF.

People will struggle guaranteed. If you play offline, 3.5k per game, you have 30 days, you’d have to play at least 3 games a night and all weekend. And that’s just to get to 350 boss. It’s not gonna happen. This years xp is absolute trash. People have lives and things to do. Not everyone cheats and plays 2 systems on play now or whatever the he// it is. I just don’t see this working and it sucks.

So just lost a low level game playing with pretty much all gold and silver team except one diamond and using a silver pitcher. Doing missions so don't care about the loss. However, I pinch hit Buxton who got hit. I held L2 until the pitcher lifted his leg. Against slow [censored] chapman, Buxton did not even break until the pitcher released the ball. Got thrown out of course because all my base stealers don't leave until the ball leaves the pitcher's hand. This is why I despise SB missions. Basestealers against me leave as soon as my leg raises. I constantly have 80 speed people steal against me at ease. It is due to connection issues that have plagued this game for years. Another reason why I just play for entertainment and not care about my record. Warped pitch speeds and the delay in stealing are just two of the many issues connections cause. Rant over about connections as I have drove this into the ground in recent years. So I do not feel bad in the least about tanking to do missions.

You obviously don’t know how to prioritize your time to get XP
Since the 2nd inning program started, I’ve put maybe 10-15 hours into it and I’m at 150k
You complain every time you post, maybe if you focused that time towards the game you’d be further into the program

Please tell me how to “prioritize” how I play the game? Do you mean loading zero rated rosters and playing offline or doing the walk boosting?
I keep seeing these numbers, and I’m really beyond confused how to do it outside of boosting as even me playing the cpu on rookie and hitting 8 hr’s gets me 5k or so a game.

Yep, I don’t get where these people are saying they get 6-9k from a ranked season game. You’d literally have to have a 20-18 type game to get that.

@locutusofburg
Your problem is you are playing on rookie. You get less xp for lower difficulties. By prioritizing xp he means stacking things like daily missions/cap +monthly missions or TA missions you don't have done. Level up your CAP, the end of each path gives you a good chunk of XP. Stop making posts on the forum complaining and play and you will get there, if you don't then buy the boss you want. -

As far as rookie bs cpu....I’m not good enough to play on say all star and make it worth it.

I got the majority of mine last inning from Conquest and Showdowns. I played a lot of Showdown. I didn't do the prospect collection or the 42 collection. I didnt mess with dailies until they changed the XP, and still I only did some exchanges. I didnt play online, so no missions or dailies. I ended having the 650XP on the day before the 2nd inning dropped with like 50 hours of gameplay.

Then you will probably need to buy the boss. I'm not trying to be an [censored] but they can't cater to everyone who isn't good at the game. Keep practicing and when you get better you will be able to rack up xp faster and unlock these things on your own -

I’m not even bad...I generally cap around 750 in RS, but I’m certainly not a god like some people. Most people’s experience will be much closer to mine than a WS player so making it a 60+ hour grind just for the bosses is a terrible strategy by SDs.
I Just really think this rewards path without double xp is a pretty awful grind for most players. I don’t expect to hit 650k but people should not struggle to
-
@locutusofburg
If you can reach that level in RS then you should be able to beat the CPU on all star. From you saying you have to play on rookie it sounded like you were someone who wouldn't play online -

And I can beat the CPU on all star. It will just be like 5-1 and in the end better to win 15-1 on rookie xp wise.

Also in what way am I "gatekeeping"?
If you are playing against the cpu on the lowest difficulty then you shouldn't get the highest rewards unless you put in a lot of time. It's OK if you disagree but that is my opinion. You should get the same rewards as someone who busted their [censored] without having to grind for a long time If you are gonna take an easy route. It's like the showdown vs MTO route last year. Risk vs reward -

Take what you're saying to anything else.
At jobs you don't get raises if you never get better just for putting in a number of hours.
Guys who suck don't get called up to the majors for a.number of innings.
There are ways for you to get the boss aside from the xp path, stop being a baby and play the game. Everything you do on here is whine about literally everything. Enjoy being a child who wants everything handed to him. -

You need to one, take the game less seriously, and two stop telling everyone else they need to be pros like you to get the BASELINE rewards. I bet you agreed with EA when they hid characters behind a 40 hour playtime unlock because people should spend tons of time practicing a game.

a COMPETETIVE video game.
You know what, let's get rid of collections, give every player Chipper Jones and every other card to start the year. Waaaaaaah
