Are people really dropping 100k plus for one of these three guys though?
Smith is the best RP/CP in the game right now. Bay and Mattingly suck.
While that might be true there are plenty of other relievers that are really good for way cheaper and less work
Still doing it though. Best reliever in the game right now, tons of packs and stubs along the way, free diamonds from player programs and free cards for that collections that comes out in July.
Ill be finishing the program for everything else and ill pick up whatever boss is the most stubs at the time and just sell it off.
I will be keeping Smith. He throws hard and has a good pitch mix.
If you get him early enough I would sell him and get all those stubs. If you arent able to pick him back up, the hoffman card for the padres collection is filthy
Hoffman's only good if you put him in after someone like Chapman though. Smith is my pick and I'm probably gonna be keeping him.
Oh man idk, rn im around the lower 700s in RS and I throw Hoffman all the time and he is shut down. Maybe I just pitch really well with him but I think that card is majorly slept on
Velo is important for a reliever. If you put him in after someone like Chapman they will be early on almost every pitch they see.
I usually throw them opposite. All my starters throw gas so hoffman is my first guy out of the pen and then I go chapman and if necessary I have john franco, and rookie Kenley to finish the game
If I were you I would get that Lee Smith and take out that rookie Kenley.
I cant, too dominant. both him and Eckersley havent allowed a run in like 10-15 innings. I Plan on finishing the program early and if smith is going for any thing over 80k im selling him. I rather use those stubs elsewhere like collections and stuff. or maybe pick up the billy wagner card
I have heard that Billy Wagner card is not great. Go for Jake Diekman. IMO second best lefty in the game currently. First being Franco.
played with diekman in BR. Can confirm thats probably the best bang for your buck reliever rn. Hes nasty. also thanks for the head up on wagner
No problem. I would suggest giving Smith at least one appearance when you get him. Forkball is not a pitch that you see often.

When did I say I was going to use an exploit? I just said next month when everybody knows how to do it (because somebody on here explained how to do it) I’d happily buy the bosses for cheap.

The easiest way to have a glitch that benefits someone fixed is posts about it. The old "don't talk about fight club"

I'm at 79k, but 50k came from the 1st Inning voucher. Late last night the new bosses' prices were dropping, decided to buy Bay for around 84k. I know in a week he will be 50k, but I want to try him out. I will work towards Lee Smith, and see how cheap Donnie Baseball gets.

Could be done. Scomo finished the entire thing, let alone just the inning boss pack. He already amassed 650K within a few hours
