SDS keeps lying about the difficulty of moments and Showdown.
It's not on Veteran
I just scored 0 runs against Hendricks in a mini boss battle while hitting 1 single and walking twice.
I had back to back walks to start and then just one single and 2 double plays.
It's not on Veteran because if it was I would have scored 4 runs.
I am better than CPU on All Star and around HOF level offline.
So don't tell me I can't hit on Veteran.Don't tell me I can't score on Veteran.
Sliders are juiced and that is shady.Fix or put it on All Star

You made a thread with complaints about showdown 2 hours ago. It's literally the next topic underneath this one. You could spend your time grinding stats instead, which will definitely get you your FOTF players faster than complaining here because I don't think they'll change anything based on the fact you don't enjoy it.

The OP is right.
Showdown seems rigged in some way.
Some parts are cake, some are just ridiculous.
I know some have beaten the whole thing, but
some things i experienced are just outrageous.
I wish people would stop calling other users

I agree with OP, and not in a bragging way I made World Series nearly every month last year. I struggle a ton on showdown, veteran in years past is not the same as it is now

I agree the difficulty did change this year. The biggest change is they don’t just pepper the heart of the plate now. You actually have to be patient which is tough at times

I agree with this, at the same time, 2-0 dotted sliders don’t make it any easier

In mlb 18 & 19 pitchers would mostly throw strikes and almost never walk you on veteran. Now they hit corners much better and try to get you to chase more. They definitely changed how the cpu pitches on veteran

If you're swinging at sliders on the corner in 2-0 counts...that's probably part of the problem!
I know I know...facing CPU...see strike...want to crush to get moment with over quicker. In the long run it's quicker to take more pitches.

I’m doing a conquest stronghold game vs. The Dodgers right now, and it sure seems like the sliders have been adjusted. Facing silver SP Julio Urias with Griffey jr’s and veteran Cano’s PCI seem really small. Cano has 85 vision.

I 100% agree with OP. These pitchers throw dots consistently and hitting is inconsistent. This mode is a clear way for SDS to get you to waste your stubs. Such a joke.

Yep. Conquest on veteran and they don’t dot and I’ve felt like veteran vs cpu feels like rookie last year, rookie is too slow of pitches. But on showdown the speed is faster and they pitch like its hall of fame

It is very clear that SDS has certain sliders adjusted in the background for showdown. Showdown plays like no other modes on like difficulty (and yes I have won 6 divisional showdowns already).

I’m with OP, feels very similar to maddens solo battles. I understand they don’t want everyone getting the rewards but if that’s the point at least be transparent

I know one opportunity that SDS missed with Showdown, they could have had ELO's song 'Showdown' play before every boss battle. That would get the blood flowing. And ELO is on a Sony owned label.
I need this patched in asap!
