Played against someone's credit card last night.

Hold R2 when batting and he can’t quick pitch you.

lol, you all took the post the wrong way.. I feel like I played great. I don't give a [censored] about a loss in a video game. If he wants to pitch at lighting speed, cool, when it's my turn I'll take as much time as I want. I had a great time and learned something, and no, i'll never accept a resign offer...
Classic back peddle.

Dude no matter if some one grinds the game , which I do or puts there hard earned money down! Do not judge them for it. If I had money I wanted to blow on a hobby I would! Cause rather buy my team and play h2h all the time? Instead of flipping cards, grinding boring moments and showdowns!! I just can't justify spending extra money on a video game we play for only 1 year! It's not worth it. But I will never ever put a person down for spending and getting amazing team. Last year in MLB 20 I think I picked up stubs once when it was 50% or 40% off one time. I had the best team u could get and over 5 million stubs left over at end of year.
Dude play , have fun and get better

If you’re not going to try to play legit
What's not legit about taking the allowed time between pitches?
He should have beat me 20-0, not 6-3. lolI just looked up his lineup:
Henderson, LF
Trout, CF
Gallo, 3B
Perez, C
Mazara, RF
Smith, 1B
Goodrum, SS
Fletcher, 2B
Sanchez, PThe game's been out a week.
pretty sure you can have this team with no money spent lmao

I mean, just be glad this game isn't Madden, FIFA or really any other sports game with online play.
-
Buddy. That’s about the kind of team you can expect to be facing every ranked game.
The guy took a 1-0 lead on you and then offered you a friendly quit, which you declined.
I’m not sure what you’re complaining about. Good on you for not quitting, because you will improve a lot more by playing better teams and players.
That said, holding R2, dragging out the game, and then coming on here to [censored] because someone had a better team than you is pretty weak.
Suck it up!

The dude offered you a friendly quit as well and you declined you reap what you sowed.
Lmao right dude was clearly trying to be nice and he gets butthurt about it.
That’s like showing up to a pistol duel with you Katana sword. Guy with the gun looks at you and says “you sure man” and you’re like “yea I’m good, I got this”

There is so much wrong with this post it’s crazy. Could be used as a good PSA on why it’s not good to drink and then post on the internet.

Very easy to have a great team 7 days into the game without spending any money.
Surprisingly easy in fact. I bought ZERO stubs, I got the two free 42 legends, immediately sold them to get stubs and just spent several hours during the 4 days of early access flipping cards, literally making 60k+ an hour. And there are a lot of people much better at doing that then I am.
In between that I was grinding conquest, etc.
In the first 4 days I bought DeGrom, Cole, F. Hernandez, Trout, Soler, Donaldson, Betts, Lofton, Franco, Familia, Wagner and the rest of the team including bullpen and bench were all the best golds.
By 7 days all the golds had been replaced with diamonds. And everyone was tier 2 or 3.And of course tons of people would have done that and tons even more/better then I did
and also without spending any money. -

Welcome to the Show. Also, you don't have to have a credit card to have a really good team. I'm NMS and I have a 89 overall team, should be 90 by this evening.
Lol I didn’t even know what my OVR was because I’m weird and play with lower rated cards I like and not just the highest rated. I CPU auto generated and I’m at 90 OVR without giving this azzhat company another dime
-
the guys lineup isnt even paid for...it seems to all be played for lol this isnt madden bud, you actually have to be good to win
-
I'm NMS, like many of us, and I have a decent team - Trout, Betts, Tatis, a few TA 42 cards. Not too hard to do it.

I have a suggestion (not that you asked for it). Don’t do the whole “take as much time as possible between pitches” toxic approach. Even if you thought he was trying to pitch as quickly as possible, that’s nowhere near as childish as taking as long as you can; and stooping below someone else’s level is never something that any solid human being does.
Quick pitching is a cheap [censored] move.
If you don't want to be countered by a reactionary cheap [censored] move, don't start with one.
It's in the hands of the pitcher.

You don’t have to spend money to get that team. I’ve got a better one than that. Got lucky with twine pulls this year and focused on AL for Ortiz.
But the biggest thing is this. He offered a friendly quit, and you decided to stall as much as possible. And you think he’s the one that deserves criticism???
-
I have an all diamond team and a few over 90 rated players including Trout and I am 100% NO MONEY SPENT. I did it through playing the game and flipping, that's it. Don't assume someone with a good team spent money because I didn't and I know many others didn't also.
-
I'll admit I blew it out of proportion when I made this thread, it was just surprising to see that I was matched up against someone with diamonds in all spots so early on. Really wasn't that big of a deal now that I look back on it. I've upgraded my team a lot the last couple of weeks and might hop back into ranked and give it another shot.
