I didn't use the exploit or anything and I've been done for 5 days...

That’s all well and good, but every time an xp adjustment is brought up you get a bunch of people completing “well did it you should just play more.”
A lot of us have lost a ton of Xp. I figure I’d have a chance at the live diamond series card if it all would have counted correctly and my showdown win wasn’t stolen.
-
It's crazy. I play this game a ton (or so I think) and probably won't even get to 250k. Last year I also played it a ton and was still at Gold by the time we got to October. I don't know how anyone with non-video game obligations can get to 350k unless they literally spend all of their free time playing the game. I have other interests (i.e. real baseball) and also like to mix in other video games here and there, so I've got no shot and I'm fine with that.

You are forgetting weekends, player programs, moments, collections, umbrella Conquest. I played about 2 hours a night probably 18 hours on the weekends. I work nights so when the wife and kids are asleep I was able to play for 8-10 hours per night Saturday and Sunday.
But it was a stretch. The last 120k xp was almost exclusively play vs cpu
That isn’t two hours a day though lol.
You're still neglecting to account for additional xp through completion of various items. There's more xp than just playing the game. Cap for instance has very nice xp bonuses.
But in two hours a night could you max it out? I doubt it.
There was a dude in here who said he maxed it last week and works 70hours a week. There is a point where it becomes physically impossible to do that.
On the flip side, I got accused of 'farming some xp exploit' (I don't know what this means) when I'm unemployed and basically played every time the servers were working, so even those of us who played WAY more than 2 hours a day aren't safe from pointing fingers (not your fingers, obvs)
Oh no, that’s dumb. I know if I played 8 hours a day I would have made it easily. It’s the dude’s that tell me to “git gud” lie them and that they did it working 70 hours with kids.
Also, I know I’m also missing some. Nearly 70 hours of play and still not at 500k seems very wrong.
I agree it's total common sense. A lot of people were unable to play when the servers were up during the day and no question XP application had some separate issues for a lot of people too. I wasn't counting mine but I'm pretty sure double XP was working at least some of the time because I got to the 1st inning finish line a bit faster than I expected.

I just looked
1st inning Moments - 20,000 XP
1st Inning Conquest - 15,000 XP
Umbrella Conquest - 15,000 XP
1st inning Showdown - 35,000 XP
Eric Davis program - 35.000 XP
Huston Street Program - 35,000 XPI have done all of those. That is 155,000 XP right there plus the XP you earn actually playing them.
There is another 65,000 XP to be earned if you complete the 42 and Prospect collections for the first inning.
So, can it be done in 2 hours a night? I don't know. But I do know that you can't ignore those items when calculating the time it takes to get to the max XP for the program.

So my original calculation was 2 hours a night 30k from two CPU games. If you do the conquest instead you don’t get those two games and honestly probably get less. The player moments/collections again take about two hours. You would get the courage plus a game if you went har route so maybe around 45k in two hours. Conquest you’re going to net less do in two hours than you would simply playing. Showdown takes about 60-90 minutes and that assumes you beat it,

Exploit or NOT -- the fact when you hit the end of the path and EXP means nothing is stupid -- they should know there are people who all they do is this game ( not one of them ) but some do. There should have been a mechanic to deal with this issue cause i am maxed and the program comes out today so why bother if the EXP goes into the SDS void.
This needs to change and i have a couple idea's
- Convert EXP to Stubs --- ex. every 5000 XP is 250 Stubs with Limit of 1000 Stubs per Day
- EXP into a mini Program -- ex. - Every 10k EXP you earn 1 pack -- limit of 2 packs per day
These are just 2 examples and i am sure there are better so use your big brains over there and please come up with something -- Thx

But you can play maybe three conquest games in the time it takes to play one full game. They give the same XP for playing three innings that a normal game gives for 3 innings (at least I believe so).
Even if you fail the Showdown you get the XP for the time you actually spent playing them so it is not a loss of the time spent playing it.
As I said, I still have doubts about 2 hours a night myself. I was just trying to point out that there are other ways to earn it. For example, the Eric Davis moment, I had to beat a team on all-star. I still got the xp for playing a 9 inning game in addition to the 35,000 I got when completing the whole program.

But you have to clear the map and simming takes time, unless you are literally playing every and on the map which would be a horrendous grind.

God no, I would never play every game on a conquest map
Your right simming takes time but is is not as big of a time sink on the smaller maps. -
While yes I agree anyone that says you can get to 650k with 2 hours a night are full of it why do you care? They are only lying to themselves and making themselves look foolish. I'm at 650k but it took a LOT more than 2 hours a day

You all are really neglecting the cap, well for the most part, and are missing out on two diamond pieces (nice golds in there too) of equipment as well as a nice chunk of xp. Cap is bank if you rock out all the various trees.
Now, I should probably have kept my mouth shut, because it's a stub source. But I'm in a good mood today, so there you go.

I was only looking at the bonus XP rewards as listed in the program itself.

Yeah I finished my 1st Inning when I learned about the Ballplayer. Hoping that is still an option when 2nd Inning Starts.

Well said. I know people are frustrated about the servers (it's hard not to be) but making posts accusing others of using exploits or other shady tactics to finish the 1st inning program is unnecessary.
We need more positive topics around here. I wish most of the complaining could just be relegated to a daily topic post so that everyone could just vent in there if they want to.

I capped 650k xp with 3ish days left so its do-able. Although I'm probably closer to 3 hours a day. All those programs you mention were done. I did the 50k 42 collection, skipped prospects.
Basically did the daily missions each day (5-6kxp since they got boosted) plus dont forget all the missions in the first inning program - 10 online wins, 6 online saves, hits and rbis with 42 cards, 10 hits with prospects. Some of these were like 7.5k xp if not more.Theres generally bonus XP given out on conquest maps, and on the program tracks. I was also working on my ballplayer track as I did conquest games.

I played a lot more than that and didn't use exploits but I've been done with xp for over a week now and capped affinity. Just playing a lot of showdowns, doing conquests, and some online play was enough though. Honestly, I just wish they'd announce they're thinking about make rights for people who can't play as much. 1st inning boss pack for everyone? Etc.
I still think adding 100-150k xp for everyone us fair. Extend the program to 800k and add rewards...maybe a second boss pack for those of you that maxed it out.
I’ve played 65 hours and still am not at 500k. A ton of play has been conquest for the TA and the TA showdown so I knlw not the most efficient but I can’t just play the cpu over and over lol.
Maybe they can extend the 1st inning while the second goes live and people who are behind can essentially get double? Either way, a lot people lost a lot of time because of the servers and/or glitches.
-
To everyone that's mentioning getting finished in 2 hours:
I don't think the OP meant that people were getting to 650K in XP just by playing two hours TOTAL.
I'm pretty sure he means that it may be impossible to do playing 2 hours a day for the last 20+ days.
I gave 72 hrs in and am at a little over 510K.
That 72 hrs avgs out to about 3.5 hrs a day.

Wtf do you care how people spend their time?
