We should be allowed to quick sell collected players again

Your explanation is the exact reason why they did it. Its more of an issue early in the year with increased prices, but you should not be able to complete all but 5 or 6 collections for absolutely free after quickselling. Most of these diamonds will go for 5k stubs by july. Why should you get 5k back for buying a 5k card?
Okay, then why not give the LS cards realistic ratings so they can compete with prime cards, signature series, and awards cards?

Because all of the good live series players will get prime cards and awards cards, finest too if we have a season.

Not really if you collect cards you keep them you aren’t allowed to sell them.

Okay, here’s another thought. Since we are supposed to look at it like we are trading real cards here, say I want a Mickey mantle card from little billy, and he’s willing to let me trade all my cards for Mickey mantle and Gary Sheffield. Since I paid $100 for the game and my show fund(yes, a show fund is something I have, best budgeting decision I made) on the stubs for the cards, I feel like I should be able to sell what I want at a tremendous lose. I’ve had very good pack luck, but I think that blocking quick sell is a ridiculous money grab.

I say its fine the way it is but they should have a way of exchanging Diamonds that we don't want for other diamonds. IE 4 85 overall diamonds gets you a 88+ overall diamond
These 88+ would be unsellable as well
This is actually a good idea. If you could exchange 85-89s for a 90+ it would be a good idea

Imagine the Honus card collection last year, but in mlb 20. It would be impossible to get him without dropping a couple thousand.
You know how many cards I had already quick sold when Honus dropped that I had to buy back for 5x the price of the said quick sell. Doesn’t just work that way, I like this actually, and now that they allow us to exchange/qs non sellable dupes I like it Even more.
Also I can’t tell you how many times I bought a card back that I needed for an event. It works both ways. This year I’m very happy to have such a large inventory in which to choose for my event rosters.

That's on you. No one has to buy back cards for events. That is your decision. Not being able to quicksell is not our decision, it was made for us.

You people are part of the problem.
And in what world can’t you sell a baseball card? -
People who support it are and I quote, "corporate masochists".
I'm referring to the guys who accept this as a solution. Be should be able to exchange all locked items.

And in what world can’t you sell a baseball card?If you lock in baseball cards to a collection it makes sense that you wouldn’t be able to sell it. Because than it’s not locked into the collection. I’m not apart of the problem I’m sorry I understand and you don’t.

I vote yes also. at least be able to exchange them. who is submitting our requests?
-
I already have Mantle and would welcome it, I’d get a free 100-150k in stubs. I agree with JB too though, I like having a big inventory for everything down the road now. Sort of glad they did it. Makes Mantle a lot rarer. Only seen him once in ranked. Last year, Mays was everywhere. Most cards in this game are free. I like that they have one that’s super hard to obtain.
-
Also, I think they did right already by allowing us to exchange/quicksell dupes.
They announced they were doing away with it before release. They are within their rights to keep it.
-
Not to mention LS cards without inside edge are garbage. Collections are trash except for the big 3. Total money grab.

Exchanging is totally different to me. Look I’m not all pumped up I can’t quicksell a useless 85 diamond , but I can deal with it, I agree EVERYTHING should be exchangeable. That’s a Good way to use an expensive locked in card you no Longer enjoy using. Plus your just pulling Trouts all day man, stubs ain’t a thing to you this year

Money Grab..check out Madden/2K/Etc
Now those are pure money grabs, the show is the least greedy company of them all. Why shouldn’t they be allowed to make money too. If you don’t want 99 Mantle use the 87. They give you options, by mid year a free team that’s amazing will be available just thru playing the game. No one other game does that like SDS does. Either your that broke, or your that naive -
Its whatever. I'm not buying stubs so I'm not even going to attempt collections. I havent spent a cent on stubs since 17 and I'm not starting now.
I'll just use whatever cards they give me and do the best I can.
-
I understand why people are upset but I view this as one of those it should have never been a thing in the first place people.
-
I do think they should have been more transparent though. Not everyone watches their streams.

I bought a few stubs here and there last year to finish certain team collections at times to advance. I won’t this year. I’m not sure I’ll even be able to finish collections this year and, right now with the gameplay, I can’t honestly say I notice much of a difference between a good diamond and a decent LS gold.
I flipped some at times last year too. Can’t find the sweet spot this year, so my flipping has been almost nonexistent. So much volatility and things just jumping around and constantly being outbid/underbid
