I uninstalled the game. Held onto the power button on the PS4 until it beeped twice. It gave me the option to rebuild the library/database
I clicked on that.
Then I reinstalled the game. I noticed I'm having less issues.Your system has nothing to do with their problems

sorry Collin but you guys have said the same thing with every issue for years. People are kind of tired of the canned responses that you guys pass off as communication. Cant blame people for speculating if you provide 0 information.

We want two things. One, a timeline and if there isn’t one an option for refunds, and two, what is going to be done to compensate for the large amounts of xp that have been lost by a ton of people.

Can somebody give an example of something they could say to help fix the server issues at night? Hmm the answer would be nothing. So why do people care so much for them to specificallysay whats going on. What else can they say other than we know theres been some problems and were working on it. I only understand if u played late at night but to the overwhelming majority whos been been to play the game i just think yall are crazy to complain for what inconveniences you an not the overwhelming majority of people.
I get it on hand cause yea im not gonna say i wouldn't be frustrated if my 11pm time every night i couldnt play but i wouldnt come on here an say the game is broken just because my time is not the best

All the server nonsense aside. I've been able to log between 33-38 hours since launch and just hit 650k. I'm not hardcore by any standards.
People saying that the server issues are preventing you from hitting 350k, I don't give all that much merit to. Regardless of issues, you would have a hard time getting to 350k.
Not saying anything excuses SDS from their disastrous launch, but they gave everybody the tools to get there.

The solution is to wait for a month or so, people that are casual players won’t play as much and then Bam! Servers are up and working. Same thing every year.

Hi Collin, I didn’t buy the game this year for the first time in 5 years. As a previously loyal customer who loved DD and would play thousands of games, invest hundreds of hours and of course, hundreds of dollars into the game each year, I was so disenchanted with the online gameplay, terrible content and recurring issues every year, I walked away from the game I loved and devoted the majority of my free time to.
I just came to say that nothing I’ve seen from SDS or the game this year has made me regret my decision so far.

I know SDS hosts MLB The Show using Amazon Web Services (AWS). My understanding is that SDS has to pay AWS for services based on expected capacity (for both database and server usage). They must be continually trying to recalibrate to purchase enough capacity to meet the load, but not buy too much capacity (and end up losing money).
I'm also guessing they seriously underestimated the amount of load that all of the XB users are adding (from last year's baseline), especially considering the presence of MLBTS within Game Pass.
