I was wondering can anyone confirm that they addressed this for RTTS. I read the update and it was vague in describing if my player can progress at anything faster than a snails pace.

Yes I did a training pre patch and was barley getting 1 point towards something if that when my rating was in the 30's. Now post patch I got plus 3 to durability and plus 2 speed from just one training session

No, they did not fix it. After the patch, I went into RTTS and my 2way pitcher way up, the upcoming game I will be hitting, and rather than do the DD workaround so I can get credit for my hitter when I play that game I decided to go ahead and I clicked play next game and then swapped archetypes right there on the next screen to my hitter. Before doing this I recorded that on my hitters' archetype that I was at 9 of 40 plate appearances. I had 4 at-bats in the game I played and after I received no notification of progress on the screen that should and when I went and checked I was still at 9 of 40 plate appearances.

I do not think so. This is ridiculously slow. I played a whole season in the minors, half AA, and half AAA. Now I am currently a month into my 2nd year in AAA. And it seems the same.

How the hell, are my attributes still in the 30's! Everything in anywhere from 33, to 38.

    This sucks

progression is partly fixed but you still need to go to clubhouse after every game. also make sure you switch your loadout for pitching before you hit play next game when you are due up to pitch. Ditto with switching back to hitting

    It seems context sensitive.
I'm not sure what the conditions are, but I'm pretty sure the patch does not fix all players in all conditions depending on how far you have progressed and what that entails.
    Things to consider...
Is this the first and only time you have created/re-created your player?
Are you - or not a two way player
Have you or have you not already progressed to AAA or MLB
Have you picked up items and cards? And if so what are they?

Depending on what the answers to these (and probably other questions are). seems to impact whether the game seems to be working for you or not,

Overall. RTTS is a complete and utter mess, and if it's working for you as you'd expect. You are lucky. You have somehow avoided the many pitfalls and booby traps in choices and game conditions that many others have fallen foul of that is ruining the game for them.

I've trained several times today and am still having the same very small, minute gains.
