How to report stallers/poor sportsmanship
-
i just played a guy who stalled the game. was constantly stepping off and taking as long as he could in between pitches and really stretched out the last 3 innings of the game. overall just being childish. i decided to broadcast it on twitch as evidence and would like to report it to SDS just cause he obviously does this to other people i would imagine.
what is the right way to go about this to prevent people like this from getting away with stuff like this...?

The game limits step offs to three per inning unless a lead was taken.
TBH I don't know of any way of preventing stalling outside of making sure you aren't taking leads. There isn't a way to stop taking as long as possible during pitching that I'm aware of.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but considering poor sportsmanship isn't against ToS and he technically only did what the game allowed him to do, SDS likely will not do anything. -
Mercy rule 'em.
To be honest, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Poor sportsmanship is the only thing about this game that makes me genuinely not enjoy playing the game.

i finally mercy ruled him but it took forever. i wasn't taking leads and even without stepping off he was still taking as long as he could in between pitches. it got to the point where i was trying to get out just to get the game over with.

Add him to your blocked players list on your ps4 so you don't match up with him again.

That's not true. I blocked someone the other day and STILL matched up with him in an earlier Events game.

Yea this is right, blocking does nothing in regards to that

Faced one of these guys yesterday and holy [censored] was it infuriating. I thought RS always had mercy but apparently not in this game. After I took lead in 6th(I think) he completely wasted my time.
Stepped off plate atleast 6 times an inning and intentionally walked me atleast 12 times in the last 4 innings. I ended up winning 20-1 so mercy rule is absolute garbage.
Took forever to force myself to strikeout because as soon as I’d have two strikes he would intentionally walk me.
Was the guy you played named CEO or something along those lines

i probably won't match up with him again but someone else will and that is why i made the post so that others don't have to...

They don't get mercy ruled as soon as you get a 10 run lead, the other team gets one more at bat to try to cut the lead. If they are still down by 10+ then they are mercied.
