Personally, I don't like reading 14 posts about the same thing. This OP though has come at me for "shilling". He has ZERO credibility when I've found him admitting that things were better.
There are avenues for getting a refund. Call your CC company. Send a request through the PS Store etc.
Verbal diarrhea and personal attacks daily?
Some people talk about their problems and never do anything about it. Some people talk about them, are given advice and take action. Some people just take action and don't say much.

You do not have to read any posts complaining to SDS. Why do you feel you need to? You seen the title, clicked on it, and read it with your own free will. Then you complained that you had to read it as if it is a homework project. Makes no sense. Personal attacks are another matter entirely. Those should never happen.

I get the whole "rage against corporations" but you are so far off base here. It was MLB not SDS that forced the game to XB as well as PS. It was MLB not SDS that decided to then put it into XB gamepass. The second decision exacerbated what was already going to be an issue of expanding the player base. The last #s I saw in Jan of this year gamepass had 18 million subscribers and it wasn't announced until 4/2 that the game would be available on gamepass. How do you prepare for that kind of influx when your game is supposed to drop just a few weeks later? That's not complacency or greed on SDS part which is who you are railing against.

I blame all parties involved in that decision. MLB, MLBPA, Sony, SDS, and Microsoft. Total corporate greed. No one gets a pass because there is no way that I can know what each organization was thinking, or even better, weren't thinking. I do agree though that MLB needs to let software companies make their own decisions. The problem is now so huge that it is unlikely to be resolved any time soon.

You sure are putting a lot of words in my mouth lol. Of course Sony and the MLB forced SDS’s hand in putting the game out on Xbox but management at SDS had to green light the timeline. They over promised and under delivered so they are accountable for that.

I've been playing this game for enough years to know I have to wait it out before the product is ready. That isn't on the consumer but I'm willing to deal with it. I had some serious problems at launch a few years ago and SDS took care of me really well, though nothing can make up for the lost time. All that being said, I do believe this game is messy enough to warrant a refund for those who want one
