I think we all agree there are people who need to lose their jobs at SDS.
At this point, if I was the owner, heads would roll!
Then again I'd also test the [censored] out of my OWN product, stress test and make sure this wouldn't happen EVERY YEAR in the first place.
Think the biggest issues are the people in charge NEVER use their own products.

They cashed in on free Xbox game. Now we have to deal with a million users at once. But of course SDS had no idea this would happen, they had $$$$$$ signs in their dreams.

MLB forced their hand. They didn't cash in on anything. If their goal was to "cash in" they would have done it a long time ago. SDS had no say in it at all. It was Sony. So go rage at them

If this wasn't a Sony game they'd be discussing pulling it from the PS Store just like Cyberpunk. I played Cyberpunk which crashed every 60-90 min from start to finish and still didn't annoy me as much as this game.

You got lucky...there was one point before the first hot fix, crashes were coming every 10 minutes or so...this is nothing, been playing this game for a while and know that the first few weeks are rough, but some of the newer players won't understand...come mid May it should be flawless...

Yeah I dunno then. I played the game at release.
Yeah same here...played it through about 4 or 5 times...I had that game pre-ordered since the first pre-orders went out...there were days it would work for 5 or 6 hours and then days where it would work 10 mins at a time...at least this game doesn't have fatal errors where you can't play it, it is all server based problems, and once they fix those, the game should be much more enjoyable...

What's even more hilarious is Sds wording. " we thank you for you patience ". You know why because they know you guys aren't going anywhere. That's what companies say when they already have your money. No refunds available...no other competitive baseball games. You will wait until we figure this out......oh and thank you for your patience....like we have a choice

The game will get better, this happens every year, some years worse than others, but in today’s modern gaming YOU are the testers, so keep reporting those bugs, they’ll listen and things will get patched up, so in time expect a smoother experience….

We do have a way. They could tell us. Like CD Projekt did with Cyberpunk 2077. But Sony/SDS are never open about anything.

I am so sick of hearing that "this happens every year" as an excuse. If that is true, that makes it even worse. It is not an excuse for this BS. Some of you are fine with being the victim of corporate greed, and the new "games are always broken at launch" mentality, I am not. We cannot allow this "new normal" to continue.

Look, [censored] happens, I totally get that.
What I have not been ok with is their lack of communication. People are losing a MASSIVE amount of xp, stubs, cards apparently, and TA vouchers due to this and they still have yet to address that core issue.
I’ve said it before, if they care out and told everyone they would drop some TA vouchers and xp for everyone that would go a long way to smoothing this over.
