Gotta love the "It'll get fixed eventually" responses from people who can't seem to grasp the concept of buying a working product. If you buy a refrigerator, put all your food in the freezer only to find out that the freezer doesnt work, do you just say "Oh its fine....i'll just sit here and wait patiently for it to work." You buy a car brand new off the lot and as you're driving home, the tires fall off...you're just gonna laugh it off like "Its all good. It'll work eventually."
Gimme a break. People spend money on a game because they wanna play it. Dangling double xp over everyones head while the servers are still [censored] isnt fixing it.

It is a video game. That I paid a lot of money for. And it does not work. Name me one industry that releases a defective product and expects their customers to be ok with it.
You think SDS wants us to just be ok with this? So they pinned a dedicated thread to give updates on the progress of the fixes, and for all of you to go [censored] and whine about the servers in, because they just dont see a problem and want us all to be ok with the issues. Jesus christ
It doesn't matter if they want us to be okay with it. What matters is that they have not fixed it a week after early access and four days after launch. If they did not expect us to be ok with it there would be some actual communication. Which there is not. They are doing something that would not be tolerated in any other industry but because it is just a video game and the industry has gone to [censored], they get away with it.
They have a pinned thread dedicated to the server stability issue, they have provided updates and the progress of fixes, for SDS thats a lot of communication. Do you expect them to personally answer every angry rant about the server issues? Because they could but nothing would get fixed because they would be to busy apologizing to and trying to comfort all the victims of this egregious crime.

134 billion dollars in " just a video game " sales. That's a lot of money. It's not a lemonade stand. It's a business. Video games are a business. When business isn't operating correctly people complain.

People, like myself say “it’ll get fixed” because we know it will, we have the patience to let the professionals do their job and fix the issue. If I buy a fridge and it doesn’t work, I call the company, speak to them like an adult and then wait patiently as they send me another fridge or they send a professional to come and fix the problem. If I buy a car and the wheels fall off as I am driving home I am more than likely dead and don’t have to worry about the problem anymore.
What I don’t do, is let the problem encompass my life and my psyche, that’s not healthy.

You can, absolutely, but constantly coming here to complain like some people are certainly isn’t healthy. I am as frustrated as everyone else is, believe me, I have just accepted that there are issues right now, they are working on it and they will fix it. They have been able to fix these issues in the past, I have faith they can do it again. It’s sad and frustrating, but for now I am just doing other things or playing other games. If that makes me a “schill” then I guess I am a schill.

I'd say people would be able to live with the server issues if the single player modes actually worked as intended. Being told "Just wait" is really dismissive and not acknowledging any of the problems others are having with the game.
If someone shows up for work covered in sweat because their new car's AC doesn't work most decent people would say "Wow that sucks I'm sorry you are dealing with that, I can't believe they would sell you something that doesn't work" instead of "Man it's a new car there are going to be issues. Just deal with it and they will eventually fix it for you."

Its not whining or complaining if you don't get what you pay for.. and that is clearly happening now. I have lost all my Stubs 3 times now since Tuesday and all my Jackie Robinson edition Digital stuff. Had a ticket in since Wednesday and only got a canned response back.

I spent 500 bucks on the console, 1g on the 4K tv to play it on, and a hundred bucks for the game only to come here and read a post from some imbecile who says I’m an entitled child for expressing dissatisfaction with the present state of the game.

Maybe you should look up the def of entitled You clearly don't know what it means. That or you still live at home with mommy and daddy and you don't know the value of a dollar.
Being entitled means "believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment." Buying a product and expecting it to work is not being entitled We are asking for SDS to get their [censored] together and fix this broken mess.
