My concern about server issues...

I'm not sure how they are tackling the fix but there is only so much you can do before you have to start throwing actual hardware at the problem.
The challenge there is there is a massive chip shortage going on right now and hardware can be super difficult to get. If "non-invasive" techniques can't solve the problem then I worry about their ability to measurably improve the situation.

Nothing else that requires servers in 2021 has gone down for more than a few hours or a day. So every other company that requires servers to do business has figured out a way to get it done.

It will fix itself, they will continue to make small improvements to get by but they know user load will decrease dramatically after the first few weeks, sooner if the current issues persist.

Can’t imagine double XP weekend going by smoothly at this rate..

Really slow day at work and was hoping to knock out some conquest but that’s obviously not happening lol

Pretty sure the servers are down for maintenance this morning... not sure how long they are supposed to be down but at least they are trying. Worked alright for me last night for several consecutive hours.

It’s unacceptable! Surely they must have anticipated the server load and had it segmented to ensure a positive gameplay experience for everyone. There is just no excuse, should be able to scale up for high server load times. Sick of the pandemic and chip shortages being used as an excuse. Zoom burst on the scene last spring and was able to handle the immediate load due to everyone all the sudden using their service that was not expected. From large corporate users to individuals all over the world had no problems with their network. That’s just one example.
Another problem is the lack of communication. The technicians working the issue are not the ones to convey anything to the public, that would be public communication department. They must do better explaining what is going on here and what we as consumers can expect going forward. -

They usually have it fixed after the first week or so but I wonder how many people put the game down and walk away? Do they fix it or is it less people using it knowing that they never have good enough servers? I seriously don't understand how you can have this every year to some extent. Last 2 years were better but its still some kind of issue. Then they do some Twitter post or something that goes on here that says we are really sorry and we are investigating. This company makes itself look mickey mouse every release.

Did the world somehow slip back to 2017? Servers haven't been this bad since then.
