How do you deal with losing?

I come on to this forum and complain about comeback logic and how my opponent was taking advantage of animations. Then I talk about how much I know about baseball because I washed out at the college level 20 years ago and how I would win βif this was real baseball.β Then I shut off the phone, kick the leg of my coffee table and angrily cry myself to sleep.
Could have gone pro if it werenβt for my [censored] knee

If your response to this question is anything other than shrug, have a quick laugh at yourself and move on to the next game then you're taking this way too seriously and I don't get you at all.

That's tough -- and I'm sure someone who grew up playing baseball can attest to this -- but that's the beauty of baseball and why you have to focus on each and every pitcher vs. batter match-up, every pitch. I didn't play baseball growing up, I was more of a hockey guy but I never had the size or competitive drive to compete once my body didn't mature as much as others my age.
What I can compare it to; I used to be a competitive tournament player for Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) and I was good, but whether it be online or in the middle of a tournament with all your friends and competitors around you, there's obviously pressure. How you deal with that will almost always define your success. For me, as I previously said, not really having much of a "competitive drive," I just treated each match whether it was against some better or worse than me -- as a learning experience. If you can condition yourself to think that way, you'll have fun with the excitement of just playing and be able to take something away from each time you play.
Let me put this into perspective, I've never been very good at this game, but I've stuck with it for 5+ years and I'm still learning.

I finished last year with 400+ loss im used to it by now lol

I usually say β are you f@$&!4 kidding me a bunch of timesβ. Then I have to stay up late since I canβt end the night on a loss like that.

Pour myself a drink
In all seriousness though, Iβm pretty lax when it comes to this game. You should see when I play NHL. I had to stop playing competitively, I got so mad itβs ridiculous. This game doesnβt make me mad at all

I had to stop playing NHL because EA destroyed it

Feel like just regular online play is good but HUT is a dumpster fire. I picked it up after the holidays for discounted price (hadnβt played it in a couple years) and I realized why I quit in the first place. Absolutely horrible.
People here give SDS a hard time but gameplay is better/more realistic and the content isnβt even close

I feel personally attacked.

After a tough loss I usually just watch some Pornhub & then I feel better.

Not sure there is a better answer then this!

You could always rub one out.

I avoid losing whenever possible, but memes are great.

These posts suck, stop whining itβs a [censored] video game. Bunch of [censored] snowflakes around here

I'd love to lose a game to anyone at this point, if it's a 9 inning game. I'm 10-10, 7 of those losses are freeze offs to guys that refuse to shut their system down. I have limited time to play with work and family, so I don't sit there like an idiot for 3 hours waiting for a win neither person earned.

A couple of people have mentioned perspective & I recommend keeping that in front of you. You're playing a videogame in a climate controlled home with high speed internet. It could be worse.

My goal this year is to not get as frustrated with it.
Its going to happen. Already happened once on a swinging bunt with bases loaded 1 out in extras (catcher came out to play it and I had no shot at home or to turn 2.......) but thats kind of what baseball is I guess.
I'm hoping with improved pitch control I wont feel that frustration as much. Last year it was always due to pitches just grooving over the plate when I had good releases.
