Check swings??

Is it my imagination or have check swings been ridiculously nerfed in this year's game? I have played most years of the past 10 or so, I do admit I skipped 2020. But check swings in 2019 at least worked about half the time (if not more). In this year's version, maybe 5% of the time if I'm lucky.

You lucked out then last year check swinging was completely broken I think they would call it a no swing about 95% of the time, and that was a big thing the community complained about, and wanted change so that's what they gave us this year, and I absolutely love it.

I already said this it’s almost impossible to check swing like I think they did this intentionally to make it more challenging but cmon don’t make it dam near impossible

I was really good at it last year. This year I strike out a LOT more now. It has changed drastically

It looks really bad when it’s a called strike on a pitch outside the zone that the hitter barley flinched their back shoulder on...it’s happened a few times.

You weren’t good, it was OP. You could check swing with power swings last year

Its mostly a casual noob thing, I can check my swing just fine.

No it's not.
I've been bouncing around between HOF and Legend difficulty with max pitch speeds like I've been doing for years, and I'd have a better chance of winning the lottery than actually checking a swing in this years game that's not ruled a strike.

No it's not.

I've only played Legend with max pitch speeds since 2016 and this year I can check my swing 30% of the time...when I'm late, I know I'm late. I use Analog Stride so I have control of my swing so maybe that's why I can do it.....if you're pressing an X button to swing, which is silly by the way, I can see why it could be harder to check your swing.

Online players did not like it so they nerfed it for everyone. It just went from one extreme to the other.
Also, I have been seeing people reply to a certain user and could not figure out why I never saw the original post that they were replying to. It is because only one person has actually made it to my block list and it was him.
