Just curious if I should cancel the Deluxe edition and buy the cheap edition since they only wanna reward online players with the best cards. That is a fact and was in the live stream. They will give the best rewards to online users, not every one who purchased a copy

If you want free stuff then play franchise. You have to grind with time, stubs, or skill to get cards. In that regard it hasn't changed. What has changed is that these rewards will be worth significantly less amount of stubs because the supply is higher. This mode isn't for you if you just want every card at your disposal from the get-go

If you are stating this kind of [censored] you should definitely not buy the game at all... For me being a competitive player is kind of hard to lose the excitement of using a WS reward card you earned competing but the amount of Ws SDS is asking as a second option would be an excessive grind... so fair enough. I guess you want WS or BR Cards given to you as a daily reward...

I’m a mostly offliner and I’m perfectly okay with rewards structured to onliners. That is, after all how they make their money.
All I want is alternate ways to acquire said cards and it looks like that’s exactly what they’ve done.
Count me in.

As someone who primarily plays offline, they have only made it more possible for offline players to get rewards. Last year the only thing i missed out on was prestiging my cards and they changed that system to allow offliners to participate this year.
Im not sure how they can do much more for us. Like someone said -- Its the online players that provide most of the monetization,-- yet they have made more effort every year to include everyone -
SDS is not perfect, but they are the best sports game developer that ive come across. This is my 4th year playing "The Show" and they have never wasted a single off season -- they are always working to make the experience better. Their work adding animations every year, alone, makes me want to support the game.
They put companies like EA to shame. We should never treat any company with kid gloves, but we should give them the credit they deserve.
SDS is a top tier outfit.
Be grateful we have them making our game.

DD is catering more and more to the offline crowd and this year even more so. No idea how you watch that stream and whine about offline at all.
