It's just a hunch honestly. The numbers do go to 5 and Jeter happened to win 5 World Series, 5 Gold Gloves and 5 Silver Slugger awards in his career. On top of that he is a 2020 HOF inductee which should allow MLBPA and therefore MLB The Show to use his rights.

The excitement level of some in here makes me wonder how many depends they will go through opening weekend.

We have not gotten a stream over 30 minutes long yet have we? And I use the term stream loosely. These are nothing more than scheduled promotional videos.

Every stream we have gotten so far wasn't early launch day either? Last Stream Ramone said "Be sure to tune into feature premiere next thursday where we talk Diamond Dynasty and everyone will be there it's gonna be fire."
And anybody who has been around a while knows this is just as exciting for them as it is for us! I asked something in thread about a month ago about since no dev tourney this year can we expect gameplay videos b4 launch? Collin "We are working on it." So i am more optimistic than some.

I thought it did for the first year of introduction into the Hall. Which in Jeter's case would mean this year. And then next year they can no longer use his rights unless they get a deal with him in place. That's how it always has been as far as I know.

50% will be fed up with the game come monday, by the end of april, a good 25% will be back to madden or something else fulltime. i see it every year these "big" streamers who arent normally on MLb year round like most of us around here, will get there 5 mins on twitch and be gone. its literally been like that for the past 5 years.
