Just got an “invalid node state” message in Showdown and got a loss without even entering the game. Stupid.

Let's all be realistic and possibly expect them to not be up right away. The game officially dropped today and I'm sure SDS has limited the number of people who go in office to deal with these issues in real time. I don't work or have a background in IT, but I'm pretty sure they can't do server maintenance remotely.

Rational thinking is nowing that on release day you would need servers that could handle 10x a normal traffic load. And investing in servers that will handle the traffic.
But no, instead of spending money on server upgrades; we'll pay millions in royalties to be able to use someone's name on a digital card.

You only can collect the rewards with a connection but otherwise it's offline.
