If you pull Trout day one, do you keep or sell?
-
Tough choice, not sure if his value will be highest on day one or steadily increase

Value will increase at first. No one has stubs day 1.

I did this once, unfortunately it was MLB 18.....
I wanted to sell but the idea of getting to use Trout for the entire year changed my mind. He carried me through conquest extreme pretty much by himself. Unfortunately I could only play that version for a couple months so he collected dust.
Wether he goes down or up isn’t all that important when you consider it’s 300,000 stubs to make stubs with. That itself is worth any amount you might lose if he goes to 400,000. It’s quite easy to make that 100,000 with 300,000 as opposed to the starting 25,000.
You’re smart though, you know this, you just want to use him all year like everyone else.

Keep and collect.
-
Keep because he will likely be a top outfielder until at least June and getting one of the gatekeepers out of the way day one would be so good.

You definitely want to wait. Not sure if we have access to his price line graph from last year, but he peaked around a month after the game came out and stayed up for a while. You either wait until he plateaus around a month and sell. You can then use those stubs to complete other divisons, get XP and stubs etc and buy him back later. Or just keep as pulling him is basically saving you 300K stubs towards the collection.
So he's either a huge coupon discount towards your total collection price (plus you get to use him), or as others have said you can liquidate the stubs, which will get you a ton of XP and more stubs if put into other teams and divisions that are cheaper.

Sell. Pulled him last year 7 minutes in.
-
I would keep. He's always the most expensive part and the best player in the game on day 1, might as well keep him.
-
Personally, I would keep, because I pulled 1 high diamond all year and it was Verlander in like October lol
-
I always buy Trout the first night because it will be the cheapest he is until several months later.
-
Qwiksell 5k so nobody gets him!

I have no idea. It just appeared one day. shrugs
-
Keep, but don't lock in. Depends on what going price is to sell him.
-
I actually did that a few years back. 17 I think it was. I sold and was able to get a bunch of cards and XP right away. Hated having to buy trout later for more money but it was worth it I think.
-
Trout day 1 would be a keep

Wsup brudda! Honestly, it did it for me on its own one day; seriously.
-
is SDS going to rig the pack openings on Day 1 for the streamers again? Last year everyone and their mother who streams got Trout on day 1. I remember Kevin almost dying from pulling him shortly after midnight.
-
I did early last year.
The MVP card made up for it. We may not get a Trout MVP card this year, so it's hard to say if I will or not, honestly
