Is there a way to pre load Mlb the show 21 on ps5 so I can play it exactly on 4/20 @ midnight?

April 9th at 12am et it will download, it will unlock April 16 or 20th depending of the edition you bought.

It's happened a few times over the last 5 years.
It’s happened every year I’ve played since 16. One year wanted a token to start DD lmao, one year you couldn’t load your depth chart and enter any part of DD. Hopefully this year is smooth but I don’t even except to play midnight on Friday. By the weekend it should by normal

I usually just start playing RTTS when I can't get into DD. At least it will kinda be worth it this year.

Now your telling me what my personal experience has been? Cmon man. Just cuz it happened to you doesn't mean it happened to everyone. I don't lie I have no reason to.

They have given multiple buy offs with packs for multiple years. No idea how you could connect when the servers were down entirely for SDS.

They have given multiple buy offs with packs for multiple years. No idea how you could connect when the servers were down entirely for SDS.
It depends on mode you are playing. If it was down last year i started in MTO it's technically offline mode. Until you claim rewards then you don't have to be online.
Franchise if servers are down doesn't faze franchise gameplay and same goes for RTTS. So yes it is possible for some to be effected and not others.

If you pre order it will pre load, if you get it through gamepass you will get it the 20th Official launch date.

That's why you just sleep through all that. It's why they go live at midnight so the load will be lighter.
I plan on going to bed early Thursday night and then getting started around 7am or so on Friday morning. -

I wasn't providing a work around. Someone said my statement was false when it wasn't and i just merely stated if you are in a different mode like the offline ones i mentioned you do not get effected. Not everybody plays Diamond Dynasty at launch.
You can play those other modes and never know about server issue is all i said. I didn't say it didn't happen i said "In my 11 years I only experienced it 1 time other times smooth as glass."

That states that you haven't seen it happen or that it doesn't happen in the last 11 years. It does and it has and hopefully it doesn't this year
