Is this better or worse than guaranteed rate field? Any other parks in the running for worst name?

These sponsored park names are so embarrassing sometimes, and as horrible venue names go, this isn’t far behind KFC Yum! Center. If Jeter is going to whooore out the integrity of his team so easily like this, at least he should be honest and wear stiletto pumps, a mini skirt and stand under a red light during any meetings with season ticket holders. I thought the whole point of having enough money is that you don’t need to debase your team like this?

What would you rename each of the stadiums, or (maybe more fun) what are you going to name your stadium(s)?

Does OP not realize majority of the sports stadiums (in the US anyway idk about other countries) are named after corporate sponsors? I enjoy the sponsor names tbh, but Milwaukee got a baaaaaaaaaaad deal. Miller Park was perfect. Thatz like Coors being changed to "Loaf n Jugg field"

Corporate sponsors is for sure a business move. I would even go as far to say and i could be mistaken, but when stadium gets built initially whoever it is named after is probabally big contributor of construction cost. A tax write off for sponsor.
If renamed after built pretty sure a contract is in place for certain amount of funds needs to be donated for Maintenance purposes.
You never find a vendor that sells another brand of beer @ Coors Field. I think there is one bar @Coors field that has variety mostly micro brews i think but everywhere else in stadium is coors or coors light.

OP realizes that. OP doesn't care.
Non corporate names are always better than corporate names. Always. And we should hold the line to make sure MLB doesn't follow the NBA into on-uniform ads.

The worst name change of all time for a stadium arena(even if it is a new arena) has to go to the detroit Pistons. Going from the Palace of Auburn Hills to freaking little Caesar's arena is just terrible

Lol @ hold the line? Ordinary fans against big money sponsors and owners? How do you propose we do that? Without the sponsors your city tax rate could go from 8% to 25% no thank you let big dogs spend money on nice stadiums i'm cool with dumb names if means lower taxes.

Turning into NASCAR. "Shout out to Maypax for that Perfect Perfect Dong in the 9th."
