What are you most excited for in 21

For me it’s pinpoint pitching. I think it’s going to be a game changer for the advanced player.
-
I’m not excited for anything in 21. I know that’s super negative but I’m just being realistic.

Unfortunately it’s a better approach because then you’ll like the game more if you don’t get your hopes up.

60 FPS on PS5. Should be a game changer

This. I hope I can get PS5 soon, but in my country it looks maybe before Christmas and my preorder is from november 20
-
I have zero excitement. I'm fully expecting them to change things from the beta AND upon official world wide launch like they did last year.
-
Saving my $100. If I want to play a game and not get rewarded for my input, I'll just play MLB The Show 20.

I'm excited for this guy to get excited about the game.

My baserunners not returning to their base when I hit and run...... I hope.

Is @allmustfall16 back and active on here?
Here are some of my thoughts on this years’ show:
I think the LS collection will be Hank Aaron. Not sure he’ll be worth it long term because power hitters are so common by the middle of the game cycle and outfield gets crowded quick with Trout, Mantle, Griffey, Babe, Ted.
I could see why Mantle and Mays were worth it because they're two way players and Mantle's speed / switch hitting was amazing for me almost the entire year.
That being said, I LOVE collecting, honestly enjoyed it more than the gameplay sometimes so I'm sure I'll cave and finish the LS sooner than later even if its not the best use of stubs.
Other legends I hope to see are Pedro, Ichiro, Manny, A-Roid, Randy Johnson.
I might be hoarding my stubs this year and grabbing OP BR rewards. All depends how XP works and how the XP path rewards guys are.
I’m encouraged with the streams so far, particularly them making an emphasis on “competitive vs rec”. This is something I’ve been dying for and hopefully the show incorporates these options into DD (keeping RS skill based and have an additional online mode for casual where ratings and RNG keep lower skilled players engaged.
In line with the point above, I think SDS “dumbs down” or makes grinding for top rewards even easier this year because of the new XBOX players. If rewards and program stars were tied to frustrating showdowns, I think they’d frustrate a lot of new players.
^ I think they make have hinted towards this by saying all players are grindable or purchasable implying BR rewards might be gone?
^ I’m sincerely hoping BR is just gone and replaced with something more fun.
If SDS can cut down on the RNG and reduce the high % of homers, I think we’re in for a good year. I just want to be more in control of the outcome of RS games. Events can remain RNG.
I’m pumped to play with this being my second year so I know my way around. -

This is the core issue. Making hitting slightly less rng, but not fixing glaring issues like the badly programmed base running or things like when the first baseman catches a loner and tags out a runner break the game just as much

I'm excited for someone else to put the hours in to make Ebbets Field so that I can download it.
-
What I am really excited for is the hope that there won't be a 99 available on day 1 and they will slowly come out.

FWIW...
I am excited to try something new. I usually spend 99 for the big bundle. Never works out and game is a mess for the first few months.
I am trying RBI Baseball since its 30 bones and picking up the Show if the verdict is good. By then I will wait until its on sale and play catch up.
Im playing catch up now in 20 and been able to knock out collections fast.
Maybe not the popular opinion but I am willing to try something new since nothing new has came out whether its features or MLB related content. Cheers to a new baseball season. It is much needed.

Nothing except the card grind to be honest and I might but doubt I am wrong that it'll be vastly improved and I am okay with that. All I want is non laggy games and possibly getting 1 home (Not happening) no matter what I do 800+. I'd be happy with this game 20 with decent games ok not really but yeah.
Doubt i'll get a ps5 soon was 6mins late to a queue today first time trying and was 28k in queue sold out at number 18k in queue so yeah not much.
-
The most exciting thing about 21 is that I won't have to play 20 anymore. Arguably one of the worst gameplay in this series ever.

This is a simple one, but I'm looking forward to starting DD "Day 1". Last year I started in RTTS, and didn't pick up on DD until May. I'm not an "A" player, but have struggled with some of the RNG, check swings, etc. I'm curious to see how good (bad) I really am.
I think that I'm a true 12-0 BR player and a WS ranked season level, but RNG has held me back. MLB 21 will prove me right.
I'd also say I'm highly delusional.
