Extra Inning Games Are Not For Me
-
These are brutal and not rewarding.

I can take a couple extra innings but when you go over 12 innings its ridiculous. I don't have an hour and a half to spare for 1 game. Nor would I want to if I had the time.
I wish the game was called and the players split the rating points.

Yeah, I offered a friendly quit after the 11th, but it was declined. I think I might just make it my policy to quit after 11 no matter what. After 11, whether I win or lose, I feel like I’ve lost anyway.

Just lost a 16 inning game. It was tied 1-1 going into the eighth. I scored one then he scored one. In the 11th, I scored two then he scored two. In the 12th through the 16th, I went three up three down while he got a runner on 1st and 2nd everytime. How he didn’t score in those innings is beyond me. In the 16th, Frank Thomas hit his patented early rollover double off the 3rd base bag. And he won off a bloop hit that poor Mike Trout had to fight through molasses to get to and then had the slowest throwing animation I’ve ever seen. Plus, I had to pee super badly the entire time. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go change my pants.
That's so unfortunate.

That’s exactly what I said after Frank’s 16th inning hit careened off third base and shot into the stratosphere.

When I go into extra innings and they keep going, I usually just throw fastballs right down the middle so they can win it, but that doesn't work so I throw breaking balls out of the zone and they crush it every time.
-
Playing through really hurts you chances for the next 2-3 games as you have to keep your next starters in past their logical exit in order to give the bullpen a rest.
Extra Inning games would be much more tolerable if SDS decided that 3-4 conquest games and/or completed moments counted as a day off for the RS bullpen roster.
-
Man I’m the same way. I don’t even go 11 I’ll go to the 10th if I haven’t won by then duck it I just quit. Clearly the game is fukin everyone over by that point and it’s not worth the frustration.

Are you questioning the validity of my retelling? Are you saying I changed a good/good hit by Frank to an early rollover because it would make people more sympathetic of my plight? You know, it’s possible. People often speak in hyperbole for added effect. Or it might be that it happened exactly the way I told it.

You are right. Both are possible. Which happened?

Do you have any reason to believe that I would lie?
