Bench bat. If I’m facing a righty he is subbed in to play 3rd

I can dig that but how's his defense been 4u? I'm afraid to even try to hide him at 3rd in even a reasonably close game.

That’s why he became a bench bat, too many errors

I haven't used him that much, but have not noticed any major defensive issues (unlike Jr. who I just had lob the ball to 2B when a guy tried to stretch a single into a double and got there safe due to Jr's pathetic throw - next batter 2 run dinger!!)

    So it didn’t matter anyways?

I've been alternating between him and Bregman at 3B, but I don't see much of a difference. Sometimes Seager is slow on balls down the line, but his bat is so good (and he's LH to help balance my squad) I can live with it. In my experience, INF corner position fielding is less important that up the middle.

2B. His monster stick gets whipped out in the 4 hole behind Trout. So. Many. Big. Long. Dongs from him.

His arm is a liability. That 61 arm, I dont think so

His arm is weak compared to other top options like Mondesi, Tatis Jr, Wagner, Story, and Turner, but it's ridiculous to say his defense is bad. I wouldn't start him at shortstop at this stage of the game, but he's been my primary 2nd basemen since I unlocked him. I don't think he has ever made an error or had a bad animation.

I put him at his primary position of SS and have had little to no issues with his defense. Maybe I'm just lucky I guess.

Seager with his gold fielding and 85 reaction at secondary positions should be enough for him to avoid errors and react to every balls smoothly.

Sorry but you need arm strength at SS especially for the long throws. Seager is not suited to play SS.

He plays 2B for me and his offense makes up for any shenanigans on D.

Yeah after reading through this thread I'll probably move Seager to 2B and put Tatis at his primary position. That is if I play another ranked game before 21 comes out. After having back to back games of perfect/perfect lineouts caught right at the wall in dead center I'm a little hesitant to come back.

Trevor Story plays a fine 3B for me. Seager is too good as a 2B where the arm doesn't matter.

You are sure about that ? Seager has one of best swing of the game. I put him at third base and his weak arm does not seem to be problem at this position.

well if you get honus, cobb, tatis, mondesi, etc. running down the line... Thats the issue. Sure his swing is great. I agree w that
