First evolution card pick?
-
Was wondering who you guys took for the first evo card and why? I did the base game pre order so I’m grinding to get my stuff and my team is cheeks. Have a bronze 2B and 3B and I’m doing the 1st inning conquest map right now.
First thought was eckersley then I thought to grab eddie. Just wondering what you all did here
-
I took Pudge for his good offense, great defense and excellent speed (for a catcher, at least).
-
I took Eck because I needed a good bullpen arm.
-
I did Eckersly. I play offline and a lot of conquest so one really good reliever is really all you need. I also value a high BB/9 stat as I believe that helps you in making pitches go where you want them to go.
-
I play a lot of conquest to get my stubs decent to start flipping on the market. I got gold Severino and gold Nick Anderson out of packs already.
I have silver biggio at C now for his speed, could really use eddie at 3rd I’m using 69 bronze nick solak there right now -
I am actually a big proponent of going for players you feel your team needs or that you would enjoy playing with
-
I went Cargo. My current outfield is LS Alvarez, Mantle and 2018 Judge. I got LS Bregman at 3B (from pack) and I use my CAP at C. Bullpen has a few decent arms already. So I figured Cargo was most practical and useful.
-
Eddie because Pudge sucked last year, I suck With Eck and Cargo didn’t interest me. Eddie is smacking the ball for be in the event
-
I went for Pudge for some reason. Got him and only used him a couple of games. I also accidentally locked in Gold Gary Sanchez and he's doing pretty good for me anyway. I kind of regret choosing Pudge. I don't even use him. I wish I did Eckersley because my bullpen is trash. Bad choice on my part
-
Getting a diamond with bad fielding is pointless in Eddie Matthews. CArgo was by far the easiest pick
-
Eddie for the left handed bat at third.
-
I took Eck, but if I could do it over I’d probably take either Cargo or Eddie. I’m really missing some good lefty bats for my lineup.
-
I went Eck, but I have Judge, classic Robles, diamond Hunter from Twins collection, and the new AS Granderson. Add in a bunch of gold options for OF and I just felt my OF was to stacked to take CarGo. As others have said, Matthew's defense is a disappointment and I have the Longoria from the Rays collection. Pudge was my other option since I'm running a catcher I can't even remember, but so far I'm happy I did Eck still.

you are me
-
Needed an upgrade at 3rd, so took Mathews. Plus Pudge and Cargo really don’t look all that great. I’ll take Eckersley next.
-
It was down to Eck or Pudge. I took Pudge. I wanted a good defensive catcher..."Be strong up the middle!" They always say.
-
I took Pudge because the best catcher as of now, MVP Posey, will take forever for me to unlock.
-
Took Eddie. Played 2 games so far. In his first game after upgrading he went 4-4 with 3 dingers and a double. (plus a walk) Game 2 he went 2-3 with another dinger that made my opponent quit.
..... I need to move up in RS
-
Eck. I'll probably take Pudge next.
-
I took Pudge, because I didnt play 19 and wanted to use him, however I forgot all about that POTM Sanchez card, so I really dont need him.
