Home Hunting, xbox or ps hunting,tv or monitor hunting, or whatever that molarkey is.

Very simple idea implementing said idea well that is up to game design and developers.

When you get to matchmaking, opponent has been found, b4 picking Starting pitcher you have a random roll of the dice home or away coin toss so to speak.

Now to make this fail proof alongside that coin toss if any body backs out from that point forward it becomes automatic loss.

    Thoughts?

There are legitimate reasons to back out after Starting Pitcher selection screen. Like if you had the wrong lineup picked and didn't realize it until you got to pitcher select.

Ok coin toss after then either way do you think implementing automatic loss would slow people down from backing out? Although i personally have lineup set b4 determining if playing MP but i understand.

I never cared weather I was home or away but I also have 1000/1000 fios plugged through ethernet. I haven’t experienced much lag in years on this game personally

I have a potential solution for that. You pick the stadium and time before the actual search bar starts, right? Couldn't SDS make selecting one of your four saved lineups part of that process, along with selecting the next pitcher to start? At that point all of the required choices have been made. On the screen you land on after the search bar, it could just show your lineup and starting pitcher (which has already been picked) along with a ready button. Since you're not scrolling up or down, you can't use the lag to determine if you are home or away. You can still back out at that point, but without the lag test home hunting would be eliminated.
