I’m with the crowd that calls this no fun. At 17 wins but very few games have been even close to fun. Will get my 25 this weekend and then find something else to do I think.

Hitting is frustrating....Always....lol. Good/Good really angers me to say the least. How can good swing timing result in a swing and a miss with perfect PCI placement??? It makes no sense. But the opponents late/late results in a home run. I just don't get it!!!

I wish I knew. It’s always the ones I put on the corner or on the black that do that.
And they always seem to come against players who haven't even achieved a gold status yet.

All I will say is if you are up by a run when your ex calls on the phone, you are doomed to lose it in the last inning.

The event isn't bad at all. Casuals should play it to get better.

I wish they would change from legend. Every game is going extra innings with 90% strikeouts. If you don’t get lucky with a homer it just drags on and not that fun. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this

Yup. Every game goes to extras and ends 1-0 on a lucky homerun..have all guys with vision over 100 and trying to use a pci the size of a dime is a little challenging..god help you if you face a outlier fastball

I have played 24 games , winning 80%, and had 2 go extra innings.... and I have yet to strike out more than once an inning in nearly all of them. And I am not good.....I think people are mentally beating themselves.

Well, I’m not winning all of my games but I am really enjoying pitching, hitting wise I’m using it to make my pci placement better

Are people using Contact Swing or Normal? I’ve been generally using Normal until 2 strikes and then Contact but then I’ve hit several Contact HRs so wondering if so should just go Contact exclusively. Thoughts?

I've never used anything but normal swing in my entire MLB the show career. Using contact or power swing honestly just feels uncomfortable to me

I think it depends on the hitter, and the park. I’ve definitely had contact swing home runs with Trout and Griffey, but I’ve also had perfects caught at the track or before as well.
I think you’re better off using X when being aggressive, and O when trying to get a run in at all costs with Jimmy Rollins or something.

Me too. I'm up to 15, want to get to 25 and QUIT.

Are you talking about online only? Surely you must use power swing in those Veteran level showdowns or conquest games?
