It's almost weird at this point.
We just take franchise Rockies players.
Larry Walker, Matt Holliday, now Arenado.
I'm not too worried about Arenado's ability to hit outside coors
Larry Walker and Holliday did fine. D.J. LeMahieu did fine, Andres Galarraga did fine etc. So many examples of successful transitionss.

I think Nolan is too talented, he will be fine.

Not a HR guy? He’s routinely hit 40, leading the league several times.

Well that's my point, it doesn't make a difference. OP was the one who brought DJ up, and field effects more than just HR results btw (exit velo, better pitches to hit as altitude zaps the break on breaking pitches, etc.) I'd also point out that DJ had a career high in HR in the Bronx...further adding to my point that him moving from Coors did not hurt him at all, it literally doesn't make a difference at all where he hits. And the splits show that the projections are Nolan will be successful outside of Coors as well. Not having the Coors effect isn't going to detour elite hitters when they no longer play there.

The Rockies general manager should apply for a job at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, or as a Colorado meteorologist. They are the three jobs you can keep despite being wrong over and over again.

There's certainly at least some small differences in hittinga different parks. I don't have dimensions but I'd be shocked if Yankee Stadium has a bigger OF than Coors. Bigger OF should mean a few more hits drop in plus bigger gaps for fielders to cover.
