2 months waiting for Chipper

Look, I know the answer is , "play better and earn him", but I'm average at best. There's no conceivable way I'm going to go 12 - 0. Can we not make these cards earnable some other way now that the season has passed? There's over 400 people like me with million dollar bids just waiting. I love this game, but it would be fun to compete with my favorite player when I know you have the rights to him. That's all.

It sucks, but I guess you just need to go for the next best alternative. There is a Jose Ramirez card (also a switch hitter) from the Sept POTM program that seems to be highly regarded.
The next best alternative is actually the 94 Chipper Jones who is a 96 overall when prestiged.

We're all waiting for cards. My orders for Wagner, Feller and Alomar are all nearing the 2 month mark now. I'm kind of shocked none of them have been filled yet, but when they do itll be a nice surprise.
I keep adding cards to my buy order list (Pedroia just a few days ago) that I'm sure will never be filled. But the stubs need to go somewhere.....
IMO all the max stub cards aren't even the best options. They're just trophies.

I'm almost 3 months for Wagner. 2 months for Alomar as well. 1 month for Rickey.

I'm not overly worried. Even on a Red Sox theme team Pearce should start ahead of him stat wise. I just always liked how gritty Peddy was.

My Billy Wagner was placed on October 18, still nada. Looks like there were ten Wagner sales in the ten tire month of Jan.
I really don’t understand why they don’t just put a couple of 1M packs in the store. So many people would be instantly happy with this:
Put 3 packs in the store, 900k a piece to get you one non-sellable BR reward (choose from all of the players), one non-sellable WS reward, and one non-sellable event reward. Make it 900k so if they choose someone they already have, they can sell the sellable version to someone else and the stubs are even after tax. -

Also, I'm sure there are folks out there that make 12-0 but don't choose Wagner if they already have him just to keep his availability low. If you have other 1M options why would you? Just a.greater chance you'd have to face him if you picked him.

Yeah - it’s crazy how long this has taken. Placed an order for Bench around the same time and still waiting. Didn’t even bother with Carter because the card is terrible and there is literally no movement on that one. And that was back in Oct when I made that decision. No one wants Gary....

The 1 million stub event rewards cards are ridiculous too. I wish I played more a few months back but seems impossible now to get Goose. I got the rewind pack twice from the past few events and got the common rounds.

At this point this would be a great option, who cares about the market at this point..ive bought Willie, Mathewson and Chris sale, with Williams, Rickey and piazza on buy orders. I’ve mostly other than May’s and Williams and sale..place the orders on guys I thought were realistic to get rather than ones I actually want..and have had Donaldson since he came out. As I had the stubs at the time and am a jays fan

This is how SDS planned it. It's all for profit. They could easily make these cards available another way. Yes, they should be hard to get when the games released, but at this point is a joke.

I don't think SDS planned for this at all. You say it's all for profit, but all these million stub orders aren't coming from people buying stubs so they can wait forever in line, but rather from those who made it in the market, or from the ridiculous amount of stubs they handed out. There's been million stub orders in previous years, but nothing like what we've seen this year. SDS isn't going to increase the stock of rare cards (some cards are meant to be rare), but I really hope they've learned what happens when they hand out stubs hand over fist. Eliminate just giving people millions of stubs and you eliminate the incessant crying over the inability to obtain a card. There will still be million stub cards, but the only ones that will realistically have a shot are those who are good at the game, workers of the market, and those who will whip out their wallet. With less people able to get those cards, orders will be filled in a more timely manner and the complaining will stop that even though they have a million stubs that they still can't get their card.
On an unrelated end note I will conclude by saying I completly despise the over-rated, totally fake, bogus content they came out with this year. Absolutely hated potms from year's past, but this year was something else. Frigging [censored] rookie and unproven player cards outdoing all-timers, just leaves a really bad taste. Who knew that Ohtani was better than Babe. It seems that most here liked this though, so I expect this to continue. In my book though it's a long fall from what this game used to be.

Out my chipper in on December 17th or so, don’t have him yet. Maybe before 21 comes out lol
