I have no remorse for you. You should know not to act like that man. Especially since you are older than 18 right? Plus one of my good friends got banned for a week calling someone a "Faggot" and a few other cuss words so I really think you are lying about what all you said OR you have already been banned before and this is your second or third time as a first time would not result in immediately being banned for 30 days unless you threatened to hurt or kill them. So yeah. Something in your story doesnt add up.

Although I sympathize with the fact that you got baited and I feel bad for you that you got banned, Sony doesn't ban first time offenders. They always give multiple warnings unless you took it to the absolute extreme which I doubt you did. Either way it sucks.
I was suspended awhile back for 7 days for messaging back & forth for the same thing - Salty language. So this 30 day suspension was the next punishment. I’m guessing next time would be the 3rd strike you’re out ban. Oh well, It’s on me for not being more disciplined.
If I were you, I'd turn off the ability for people to message you and protect yourself from being baited into something where you'll end up on the losing end.
If I stick with playstation I definitely will.

Evidently playstation records all party chats now & someone can just report you from the party - Playstation can then listen to the whole conversation. I guess this was in the message 2.0 update. Beyond what happened just now with this incident - I don’t like that. I don’t like having a 3rd party monitoring all chats at all times. Which it does say in the T&C that they have the right to do. Microsoft doesn’t do that. That along with being 1 strike away from being banned definitely has me considering my options.
If I remember correctly, sony started doing that because potential terrorists were communicating through playstation voice chats to make some bad plans.

Why join the party chat? Its not like you guys were going to exchange recipies for apple pie. The honus was on you. Dont blame the results of your bad decisions on someone or something else. Yes we are all free to make our own choices, in the same way we are all free to live with the consequences of those choices.
Because it was a heated & competitive game & in the moment I was ready to drop the gloves so to speak. That’s sports man, At least to me. Tge competitive juices get flowing. But you’re right, It’s on me for going there. I just think it’s silly that if someone invites you to a chat & proceeds to talk trash & then you serve it back that you should be suspended. It’s a sports game. No threats were made or anything like that - just alot of swear words. But it is what it is.
I don't understand why anyone would want to "drop the gloves" over a video game. Maybe it's an age thing?

Meh, it's only a game and most people who troll are looking to get a response out of the person, it's better to not give them that satisfaction rather than stooping to their low ground.
I'd never answer a voice chat and I never really responded to those types of messages (Actually have my messages turned off right now, but that was more because I was tired of getting the "Can you let x player hit a home run please)

We are increasingly living in a world where everyone is being monitored and many people are looking for the opportunity to report on another. It is one thing to be in a public area (like this forum) and say offensive words - no problem in shutting down these people. But a private chat is different. If you don't like what you are hearing, you can leave or boot the offending member - unless there is a direct threat to another person's well being.

I don't report anyone ever really excluding cheating but this one kid wouldn't stop messaging me for 3 days and when I said I am going to report you he said sorry. Next few days go by haha you insert swear word I didn't get banned and I said yes because I never reported you but now I am and he was banned within 5 minutes.
What's annoying is I have reported cheating in various games nothings gets done ever yet this one was almost instant.

Ok well Im sorry I said that then. Thanks for relaying your story for others. I still think there is more to your story than you say though b/c I dont think you would be banned for 30 days if that was your first time just for saying what you stated you did.

I don’t think you read the entire thread then. As I have already stated - I have been suspended before this for the same type of thing - arguing with people in messages & using foul language when doing it. The previous suspensions were not 30 days, This is a multiple offense punishment.
