2 Days Into It And Already Burnt Out On The Game

Yeah I disagree. Game feels fun this year.
Everyone that’s bitching about the slugfest, you’re not at DS with HOF difficulty yet. Just chill and enjoy the game. Same stuff every year. Don’t patch the game SDS, it’s fun. This isn’t even the biggest forum for the Show. The other one I use, everyone is loving it.

Catchers still do not know how to block pitches that little leaguers could make. Pitching is still horrible. It's a game of slugfest to see who can out hit who. Defense in outfield is just ridiculous. I see players over running pop ups constantly, and I'm talking both sides. I'm just stating what my experience has been so far, not sure how others feel.
I thought thats how baseball worked
You think that's how baseball works? LOL, if you're playing home run derby, maybe. But if pitching mattered, that's not how baseball works.
-
Yeah, you seem to be in the minority here. The game feels great this year. I'm having a blast!
-
It’s a great game, still some bs hits going on. But pitching is hard. If you miss your spot you are punished
-
There are some fixes needed but hitting feels pretty [censored] good. SDS needs to tread lightly when making certain adjustments.
-
I have not seen any catcher issues so far. And I have already got used to the defensive adjustments even with crappy defenders.
-
This is the best game in years. I haven't seen any serious issues so far. I will say there are a lot of HRs, but I'm not complaining. Pitching is a huge improvement. You can actually paint the corners with movement.
-
I must be doing something wrong pitching-wise. Some players I play against smash every pitch, no matter where I put it. Sliders way in off the plate, breaking pitches in the dirt, sinkers just above the ground are all crushed or lasered, and I already gave up throwing fastballs since that's an automatic hit or worse no matter where I put it.

"Burnt Out" and "don't like it" are 2 very different things
-
I would love to see a little leaguer block a Kershaw 12-6 curve in the dirt.
-
The blocking is vastly improved, my C will let some go but it’s Sanchez for one, and passed balls are mostly when I completely screw on the meter

This is a good point. There is a difference between passed balls and pitches in the dirt getting away. Pitches in the dirt should NOT all be blocked. maybe 50/50 kept close. That is wild pitching at fault. But the passed balls from last year seem to be gone. Passed balls are of course balls that get by the catcher that arent wild pitches.

People are complaining about the catcher's blocking? Really!? Have you ever watched a baseball game before?

What other forum?

Just wait until SDS adjust the pitch speed. It's pretty easy right now to react and make good contact. I think it will change once 97MPH looks 97 and not 92.

Guess pitch is all I have to say
-
my only complaint is that outfielders are sometimes not locking onto fly balls. But Im sure that will be fixed sooner or later
