Not sure what to do w/ 2mil stubbs.
I see I can collect all the players to get Mantle Diamond. I
The most expensive cards to get are DeGrom, Verlander, and Cole.
Is Mantle diamond worth it?
This all depends on your team, who you currently and who he would be replacing.
Most people have used Mantle by now and their teams have outgrown him. I would highly recommend getting MVP Trout before Mantle if it's an either or scenario. Otherwise, who else do you have?
If he cimpletes mantle he will have quite a few cards to use towards trout

This is true.

But Mantle is live cards only. I think your first advice to go after Trout is good. I got both super late, and Trout was way more valuable to me. It’s Soto, Trout... and well you can argue over tons of players.
-
Trout, Soto, Griffey, Mays and Mantle are the best OFs. If you do Mantle than you can use the set pieces in the trout set. I'm not sure you can complete trout if you don't get the pieces from the mantle set. If nothing else Mantle is a great bench bat and good substitute for Soto defensively.
-
so to get the trout , giff, mays do I have to do online gaming? or can it be done playing offline games?

This.
And you get three cards as rewards for Live Series - Biggio, Sheffield, and 94 Billy Wagner - that are still relevant in some team builds.

Same. Got them late. Ruth eventually got replaced as well. Him and Mickey make special appearances now and then, since so many options now.

You should have more than enough to complete Mantle and Trout at this point. The LS collection shouldn't cost more than like 500k
-
I am new to DD this year but how do you get the 99 Mays? Do I have to do online play to get him? Or can I get him thru doing more collections?

Unfortunately you have to play rank this year to get him.

By collecting each team you get a card that you can use towards trout FYI

Only Mays needs to be done via online play (or you could spend 1 mill and wait in line for him)
Griffey you can either get out of the 10th inning program or 11th inning.
Trout you need to complete i think it's 14/15 collections (ie, rookie, Postseason, Awards) if you check your inventory i'm sure you have more then you think you do. Btw he is completely worth it. Everything he hits is crushed, i have 65 + homeruns with him now and i'm batting 400 with him (and i'm nothing special). In my opinion one of the best cards ever in a MLB the show game.
As for Mantle don't think of as just getting Mantle, you get so much for him. Sheffield/Biggio are also great cards and then there's the fact that you get a lot of stubs along the way for completing the Live Series collection. I think you get 30/45k for getting mantle and at least 5k for each team, so if my math is correct thats 150k at least. The diamonds for the LS collection should only cost 650k (trust me i've done the math because it's how i've made so many stubs)
Best of luck and enjoy once you get him
-
What else you gonna use the stubs for at this point?
Especially if you've never done it before, completing the Live Collection is definitely a life-goal on the checklist.
-
Trout, Soto, Griffey> Mantle.

Agree with the other guy he should go Mantle cause he'd have 30 cards for trout.

At this point in the game Trout should have been something everyone has as he is so much easiler to get than Honus was last year. It took most people atleast a month to get the 60 sigs. People had trout the day he came out. I had over half of the collections done when he came out. He is a great card though. He didn't take off like Tatis did for me. But Tatis is falling back to earth and Trout is still soaring. I will say Foxx it just too good to not be in the lineup and Soto is clutch when you need that big hit.

Do Market prices lower on weekdays vs weekends?
I can't believe I have to spend like 250K on just 3 players : DeGrom, Verlander, Cole.
