The Giants have signed Righty Reliever John Brebia to a one-year, $800K deal. He had Tommy John surgery in June and will likely miss the beginning of next season, assuming it will start on time.

The Pirates have traded All-Star First Baseman Josh Bell to the Nationals for right-handed pitchers Wil Crowe and Eddy Yean. Crowe is the #3 prospect for the Nationals (now Pirates) and Yean is the #6.

Will see how good Patino turns out to be, this is now Mejía's 3rd team and he has yet to crack any starting lineup. Hunt is in low A ball, and Wilcox was only drafted in 2020 so he's just getting goong.

Update on the Darvish Trade: There’s “growing optimism” that the two sides will complete a deal, tweets USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, adding that an agreement could come together as soon as today.
