Reliable Pinch Hitter?

Looking for someone on the contact side who can deliver me a big base hit to drive in runs.
Monthly award Mondesi. Contact one side, power the other, max speed. Love that card.
-
If a contact/power combo is acceptable and Juan Soto isn't in your starting lineup...then Juan Soto is a great option.
-
Stan Musial is my go to guy

Best card in the game.
-
Ozzie smith, ty Cobb and nick madrigal (the better version card)
-
Jackie and Honus are both great bench bats. Great contact, with speed and can play multiple positions. Honus has a bit more pop. I also like Joram, switch hitter but destroys lefties.
-
Santander is amazing.
-
Sig Todd Helton
-
Maybe not this late in the game but Daniel Murphy was the glitchiest PH in the game for a long while

Tony Gwynn can always find a hit.
Base hit machine with a really nice swing in my opinion. He was in my lineup for a long period of time in this game until the obvious way better OF options came along. He even then was on my bench for a while for that base hit when I needed it.
-
Ted Williams card seems like the perfect pinch hitter
-
Freddie freeman vs righties.
Castellanos vs lefties.Or Musial vs either.
-
Blackmon, Winker or Red Sox Johnny Damon

Very valid choice and super budget option. Dude seems to only get on base in the game.

98 Jim Edmonds

98 Jim Edmonds
For a stretch of the central event I could barely get a hit, mostly because I was using guys like Joe Morgan and Miguel Cabrera to complete missions and I always suck with their cards. There were two other cards that I refused to take out of my lineup in that event because they could carry the team while Morgan and Cabrera repeatedly sh*t the bed. Salvador Perez and Jim Edmonds.
If the outfield wasn't so stacked year in and year out, Jim Edmonds would get the attention he deserves. Amazing swing.

You should also try Finest Jacob Stallings and 98 Fred McGriff. Fred has an amazing home run follow through.

Ty Cobb has maxed contact and has great speed and bunt abilities. If I didn't have a fight for the outfield spots I would have him in there but with trout, mickey, griffey and Soto it hard to find a spot besides the bench.
