You do realize that Madden is on the PC right ? People have dissected that programming for the last 2 years and have found no evidence of DDA getting applied to online games.
You hate to admit it, but it’s all confirmation bias. All of you are circle j$&(;; each other.
I loveeee on how one poster said “ they have yet to prove otherwise “. That is along the lines of “ when did you stop beating your wife”. It’s on the accuser to prove the defender did something wrong. Not the other way around.
Either way, The Show will be on PC next year and people will dissect it and put this question to bed.
Only reason it seems that there is DDA in show is because of clutch ratings. Which kicks in the last 3 innings of a game. It was posted somewhere the exact times and situations it kicks in. Think of it as Rally Monkey quirk that Machado finest card has.
Are you sure it will be on PC? I hope tonapp that is holy it's not. I can only imagine the hacking situation well have to deal with.

My biggest complaint about COD and many other multi-player games is the SBMM or "Skill Based Match-Making". Basically regardless of your skill level, they will make sure you end up with the same boring stats regardless of how well or poorly you play...or how much you improve. I loved getting into lobbies with professional quick scopers and "B" flag campers because even though I got destroyed, I learned to get better much quicker.
What attracted me to those games in the past, before strict SBMM, was the un-predictability and the organic lobbys. Now it's just like blah and boring after a few games. Been playing Cold War and my biggest complaint is the disbanding lobbies (and the horrible launcher double kill challenge). It used to be so good when you’d get into a lobby that guys were just chill and played a fun game. Could stay in that lobby for a while and possibly add a guy that was good to play with. Now it’s one and done and off to a newer, crappier lobby. Not only that, but it takes forever to find lobbies because they’re trying to find people at the same skill level. What’s so bad about putting me in the next lobby with the best connection and I can decide for myself if I want to stay in there? They’re taking the fun out of it and making every match seem like a grind. I’d much rather lose against awesome players who aren’t ignorant and rude than play against people who I beat up on and are toxic. I can always leave a toxic lobby. I’d just like to be able to stay in good lobbies.

This...When I watched DDA exposed on Madden by a youtube user named "yo momma" the bubble burst. How Madden started having partners to help market content. They would even have a whole player profile of all your activity...what modes you played the most...even your "churn rate?" (When u tend to stop playing) Example two losses you usually quit...Ea knows this stuff. That's genius!!! Yet scary.
Long story short. I'm still playing 19. Today I faced someone who was a level 15 bronze in RS. His best player was finest ohtani..his starting pitcher....live series silver Marcus stroman....
He threw complete game. Held me to 1 run on 9 hits with 0 k's.
He had one diamond. Finest Ohtani. I lost 6-1. Granted my opponent only struck out 7 times so I give him credit on that. Been playing the show since 2014 and 19 since it came out. This guy plays for maybe a month and can compete? With a silver live series pitcher?
That might be very appealing to your casual gamer

Before I got 20 recently, I made an alt account on 19 and started from scratch. I jumped online pretty quickly and beat a few opponents with mostly silver and gold teams because I knew what I was doing. The divide between some silver and diamond cards is not as big as some people think, especially if their overall rating is taken down by defense or if they have great swings (like LS Mondesi).
I'm not saying your opponent was definitely a seasoned vet, but you being legitimately beaten by a better player with worse cards isn't that difficult to believe.

It's also worth mentioning that since getting 20 last month, I'm 21-1 in ranked. I'm sure some of my opponents were annoyed that a bronze / silver level player was keeping up with their all prestige squads, but I've been playing DD for years. Ranking means nothing. You never know who is actually on the other end of that connection.

This game has so many issues. Early is better then perfect is my top two issues next to pitching. But SDS shows they don’t care

Because you & him are elite players. You are not in danger of going on a losing streak & walking away from the game. The coding is designed to keep the average majority interested which constitutes 80% of the player base. Go take a look at the overall records of players in DD & MUT. 80% of the player base are in the 45-55% win percentage.

Ea has the DDA. I feel like the Show is much more rng. Which means even if you have a perfect perfect or good pitcher input it won't always result in a positive outcome. This more or less punishes the better players or player with better teams so in a way it is DDA.

It’s called clutch rating on the cards. They even said it starts in last 3 innings in the game and also other situations like runner in scoring position and 2 outs.

With The Show it doesn’t feel so much like DDA as the RNG shifts and not in your favor. More balls hang/sail down the middle of the plate, more good contact leads to outs, etc. meanwhile your opponent gets the opposite.

DDA and RNG are polar opposites by definition.
RNG implies complete randomness which means deliberate punishment of the better player is not possible. Each player has an equal chance of a favourable outcome.
DDA implies that the difficulty of the gameplay changes based on the situation in the game. Thus potentially gameplay is biased against the player who is ahead.

I’m not sure whether it is DDA, rng, DNA or lgbtq.
For me, the game plays poorly, regardless of explanation.
If I can invest a bunch of time in the game to unlock a supposed good card like Finest Trevor Bauer, and in my first start with him (despite winning due to dashboard) walk four on nearly fifty pitches in 2+ IP, there is something wrong.
I’m not a crappy pitcher. My era on the year is 3.57 with a WHIP of 1.08.
Yet, facing a silver rated opponent with a lesser team, I somehow cannot throw strikes with one of the best pitchers in the game until I give up a couple runs.
Whatever the explanation, there is something at work here, even if it is just terrible input to outcome balance with pitching.
