I suspect because there is a fair amount of people who play the game in that way, and it is very annoying.
There really should be a way to block opponents.

There’s far more annoying things in the game than that. I’ll never understand how anybody could be bothered by bunt dancing. And no, I don’t do it, I just don’t see why it bothers people so much. It’s harmless.

I get what you’re saying, but it’s a little different. Teabagging is someone gloating that they killed you, bunt dancing is just someone trying to get in your head TO try to beat you. Don’t let it bother you, it doesn’t affect the game in any way.

It’s annoyingly as hell and has zero effect on my game play. Sometimes I’ll step off until they stop but the best way to get them to stop is to just beat them

Normally I would agree with you here, until I had some d-bag bunt dance into a pitch that was in the strikezone yesterday. Nothing like getting bases loaded with 1 out on cheese.

I do get a bit of satisfaction from blasting a dinger with runners on and then comically giving the bunt dance back to them for 1 batter.

Maybe so, but anyways, it can't be appealing if it happens to you. However, I really haven't had to deal with it much.

Realistically, I think bunt dancing is more detrimental to the person doing it. I like to just bust them inside.

ITS TOTALLY MLBS TEABAGGING. I teabag religiously in cod and destiny but never the show

To me it's just so freaking immature & stupid. It's like they do it more like to trash talk in the form of Bunt Dancing. As well what looks so freaking stupid is how so many dive at "EVERYTHING" that is foul. The ball can be 20 plus feet away from then in four territory & they still diving. An other thing that bothers me is how so many NEED to take the runner with their catcher on a dropped pitch. REALLY!!!! Throwing to 1st is not enough & they must add insult to the K by tagging the runner out with their catcher & 50% of the time they have to throw to 1st anyway when their catcher is not fast enough to tag the runner.
