10 Things I hope get fixed in The Show 21

One or two things get fixed, but then one or two NEW things (if not more) become an issue, and the rest of the problems stay the same....seems to be the trend year to year.

For half the things you listed, I have no idea what you're talking about. A pinch of detail might be helpful.
How about this - just give players what they deserve. I sometimes hit a perfect perfect flyball with a 100, 100 guy and its a flyout to the warning track. Other times I deserve a fly ball and it's gone. That's so lame. I understand if they want to make it harder for a 9-0 game, but that's not what I'm talking about. That to me is the most frustrating thing.
Which items are you talking about and I (or the community) will explain the issue with them.

This is actually a pretty solid list. Personally I would take the sun glare off of the list though because even though it sucks, it is realistic so I don't see why it should get taken away from the game. Pitching as you said is one of the hugest issues. If I have a pitcher with control in the mid to high 90's, then a perfect release should go exactly where I wanted it at least most of the time. I have pitchers with control in the 90's where over half of my perfect releases on the corners either go a good amount out of the zone or get placed too much toward the middle of the zone. One of the biggest, if not the biggest, issues in the game that you did not bring up was fielding as a whole. These guys field like little leaguers. There are way too many grounders and dribblers where there is no sense of urgency and the infielders take their sweet time throwing to first and allowing the runner to make it. This is stuff you see in little league and high school where there is no lack of urgency and beating out grounders is a regular thing. The outfielders are really bad with taking super long, slow routes to the ball and taking there time throwing the ball in or making unnecessary crow hops. Slow routes to the ball is something you see in lower levels of baseball because people don't know the proper footwork or are slower but these are supposed to be major league outfielders. The lack of urgency and taking these unnecessary crow hops is also things you see in little league because kids don't have enough strength to make a throw from the outfield. These are supposed to be major leaguers who definitely can make a lot of these throws without these extra steps. Overall, the fielders just need to field and make plays like major leaguers, not little leaguers.

Overall, I think The Show is the best sports game on the market. The content is great, it’s not to greedy on microtransactions, has decent offline content for those not wishing to play online, and probably plays truer to its sport than any other game. However, there are ten glaring issues that have been plaguing online play for years that I wish were addressed in future versions of the game.
Pitching
Check swings
Home hunting
Shippett
The Sinker
The extra step/pickoffs
Glare/batters eye
MLB stadium lag
All star difficulty
Peer to peer hosting/matchupsHopefully out of these ten, one or two will be fixed. Once again, I love the game, but man it can be frustrating to run into these issues game after game, especially when you run into an opponent that knows how to exploit them.
Great list! Home hunting, MLB stadium lags and glare on day games at some parks are very bad. I agree with all of them, perhaps except the extra step/pickoff (which I don't find to be a big issue). I'd add a few:
1-First baseman not going to first base on a line drive to RF. Several times the ball was hit hard by a slow runner who could have been thrown out at first but the 1B doesn't go to the bag.
2-Runners casually jogging to first on dropped 3rd strike instead of sprinting.
3-Dashboarding wiping away prestiging statsAlso would be nice to be able to place bulk purchase/sell orders on the market.

Is there any news on a 21? In my thorough 5 minute review of the internet I find nothing helpful.
-
1: Fix inconsistent hitting outcomes and make input matter again
2: Fix check swings, 99% success rate for safe checks is [censored]
3: Fix fielding animations. Fielders often don't lock onto the ball and lazy, wide tag attempts consistently let runners safely reach base -
Fix pause times...
Perfect/perfect feedback... this should be a simple fix. If it is not going to be a HR or hit, do not give it the perfect/perfect feedback.
dashboarding- people do it because they know it is a HR, so just give players credit for the stats immediately if it is a HR. That way even if the other player rage quits, there is only 1 upset player and not 2.

21?....who's getting 21?

You can't expect every perfect/perfect to be a hit. That is not how baseball works. Just like in real baseball, there are times you will square up a ball and it goes right to someone and other times where you hit it off the end of the bat and you are early and you get a bloop hit. That's just how baseball is.

Yes!! I can't agree with this more. The fielders in this game play like little leaguers.

I hope they at least fix the urgency on fielding. I'm tired of the infielders taking an extra 3-4 steps before they throw it. The AI in general needs an upgrade.

That and catchers always doing that ridiculous stretch before throwing the ball to 2nd\3rd base, letting the the runner steal safely

Agree with you 100%. The point I was trying to make is that a Perfect/Perfect should be given only for home runs. This would eliminate much of the frustration of players. Maybe they can add an additional feedback something like "great/great" and that designation could be for balls that were hit great but maybe to your point, you get unlucky or it is not an automatic home run.

Got you. Ya I mean I like that they separate it to perfect line drives, grounders and flyballs but I do agree that if I hit a perfect flyball with someone who has power over 100,or even 80, it should be a guaranteed homerun unless it's hit to centerfield at Polo grounds.

I just want to be able to restart a multi game moment from the start menu instead of having to back out of the moment and reload it. I wanted to break my controller during the Pudge Evolution Moments because of this.
-
Pickoffs at second base. If you take a lead at second with the defender covering, you will get picked off.

Can’t believe I left off my biggest annoyance with this game over the last couple of years: the baserunning. I will get at least one out per game Because my runner makes a stupid baserunning decision, doesn’t go, Goes to late, goes to soon, goes on his own, etc. the baserunning ai has been atrocious the last couple of years.

Glare/batters eye is part of the game so I wouldn't try to...change that. Everything else is reasonable to try to improve

While it is part of the game to an extent, it’s nowhere near as bad or as prevalent as in the show and players definitely take advantage of it. The idea for a batters eye is to give the hitter a clean background to pick up the baseball in order to make a fair attempt at a hit. Some players in this game are able to exploit time of day with the background in certain stadiums (and their uniforms) to make it very hard/impossible to hit if you are not very used to it (as they would be with their home stadium).

Great list, P2P hosting matchups is very annoying to me, one game runs as if it was an offline game and then the next one super laggy because of someone else’s bad internet...
