2-seem FB. My success rate with that pitch is like 10%...I've given up and don't use it anymore.

+1 for Walker. Hornsby, Lux, J Roll, Helton, Sig Aroldis Chapman, Crochet, Dibble
McGee has been my best reliever so far this year, and I have Sig Chapman, Gagne, Rollie, Rodney, Dibble, etc. I just feel really confident every time I use him. Haven't used Britton though so I can't compare apples to apples, but I'd highly recommend McGee.
boy, seeing as I was the very first casualty of this game, grabbing a land mine and blowing myself to pieces, hope there will be another round later...can't do much worse...
I know it's a tiny sample size, but I've used Maddux for 2 games in RS (on All Star) and pitched 2 CG Shutouts with 30Ks and just 6 hits allowed in 18 IPs. His velo is pretty low but he just dots corners which I love. Could be just luck and me facing 2 weaker opponents in those 2 games, but for now he is staying in my rotation,
Just a hunch, and maybe others have already posted this, but if you click on the "Topps Now" link at the top of this page, the very first link at the top of the Topps page in the "Categories" section brings you to a special card collection about Jeter. Combined with the fact that he just got into the HoF with 100%-minus-one-vote recently, my money would be on Jeter being this year's Honus.

No starting pitching moments was a godsend. Prob the easiest moments rollout this far
I am definitely in the minority when it comes to pitching moments but I think they are extremely easy. They are long and annoying, but if you throw what the catcher tells you too they are not hard
I second that. I love pitching moments and find them much easier than hitting moments. Could be why my RS ERA is under 3.00 but my batting average sucks!

I think for me it's Finest Salvador Perez

+1 for Pedro, would definitely use him
Same for me in BR an hour ago. That’s rough
Just had it happen to me a minute ago in BR. Hit a gapper with La Stella and then everything froze, it told me I lost connection and lost the game. I’m hard wired?!
@MarinerMatt01 said in 10 Things I hope get fixed in The Show 21:
Overall, I think The Show is the best sports game on the market. The content is great, it’s not to greedy on microtransactions, has decent offline content for those not wishing to play online, and probably plays truer to its sport than any other game. However, there are ten glaring issues that have been plaguing online play for years that I wish were addressed in future versions of the game.
Pitching
Check swings
Home hunting
Shippett
The Sinker
The extra step/pickoffs
Glare/batters eye
MLB stadium lag
All star difficulty
Peer to peer hosting/matchupsHopefully out of these ten, one or two will be fixed. Once again, I love the game, but man it can be frustrating to run into these issues game after game, especially when you run into an opponent that knows how to exploit them.
Great list! Home hunting, MLB stadium lags and glare on day games at some parks are very bad. I agree with all of them, perhaps except the extra step/pickoff (which I don't find to be a big issue). I'd add a few:
1-First baseman not going to first base on a line drive to RF. Several times the ball was hit hard by a slow runner who could have been thrown out at first but the 1B doesn't go to the bag.
2-Runners casually jogging to first on dropped 3rd strike instead of sprinting.
3-Dashboarding wiping away prestiging stats
Also would be nice to be able to place bulk purchase/sell orders on the market.
I have 99 Soto, 99 Trout and 99 Griffey with Cobb on the bench as pinch hittter/runner/defensive replacement for Soto late game.
Cobb is better than Randy. Better fielder, speed on basepaths, nice swing, better power than attribute shows. Randy's only advantage (maybe) would be against LHP.

People sleep on Walter Johnson. Dude has been HUGE for me this year
Agreed. Just prestiged him last night in the event, can't wait to try the new and improved Big Train later this week!
This event is good and bad. Good because it's a bit more like real baseball instead of a HR derby. Bad for prestiging hitters. In the old timers event more than half the games were at Shippet or Shibe where everybody hit HRs left and right. Right now at PNC in my first 3-4 games so far in the Central event I've had a 1-0 game and a 2-0 game, much closer.
