So I have about 200k stubs and had a few ideas in mind

Option 1: Buy Ty Cobb, bench Randy
Randy is the better hitter overall, but I need more team speed and another lefty bat (other outfielders are Trout and Mantle)

Option 2: Buy a few more finest (Cruz, Mookie, Bieber) and also get 99 Nolan along with those cards

What would you guys do in this scenario?

Cobb is better than Randy....you would be absolutely shocked with how much power Cobb actually has, and his arm is better than his attribute says. Plus, he literally glides in the outfield....I have no problem giving my opinion that Cobb is a top 3 player in this game.

Cobb. Those finest cards are cool, but you'll get more use out of Cobb. He is a huge upgrade over Randy...

You know you can do team affinities and get the finest cards for basically free by doing the team rivalry exchanges right. On the other hand Cobb is your best bet most outfielders are slow my outfield right now is Cobb, griffy jr, and I think belli at right cause he has good speed and great arm I couldn’t waste him at first base

I have trout but hard to fit him into my outfield I like lefty bats

Cobb is better than Randy. Better fielder, speed on basepaths, nice swing, better power than attribute shows. Randy's only advantage (maybe) would be against LHP.

I just bought Lefty Grove for $190k. Why not, he looks solid if you can handle the windup and my patience is great not dealing with 30 online event games.

So i guess ill pick up cobb then, who do you put at each outfield spot? Trout LF, Cobb CF, Mantle RF?

I have 99 Soto, 99 Trout and 99 Griffey with Cobb on the bench as pinch hittter/runner/defensive replacement for Soto late game.

I'd roll with Cobb in LF......Trout and Mantle's arms are significantly better than his and they are quick enough where they wont hurt you in the outfield.....you want their arms in CF and RF

When I was running that trio as my OF, I had Cobb in LF, Trout in CF, and Mantle in RF. Seemed to work out.

Cobb absolutely rakes. His arm strength is his only weakness.
