Never thought i would even challenge for him but now i'm one win away from Seaver and 6 away from Ruth and just beat the AL on Hall of Fame (a challenge for me) i'm feeling very confident that i can do this now. If i hadn't given up on this for awhile who knows i might have had him already.

If your team is stack, it should be easier than you realize. Just gotta be patient and work each AB.

Yes I got him a few months ago and never thought I would and so happy I did ... u will enjoy but never got any challenges in Gehrig path done

No Gehrig wont happen for me either this year. I've attempted the conquest map but thats it as far as extreme goes this year.

If you're having trouble on the HoF what a lot of people do is just build an all speed team and bunt your way through. Use the cpu stolen base tactic and hope you can squeak a base hit or a fly ball deep enough. You should end up with 5 or 6 runs, and then it all comes down to pitching.

Wow was that intense. Just beat the NL in one of craziest games i've played all year. Could not hit Maddux for my life CPU pulled him in the 9th for Gagne. I bunted Lofton abord hit a 2 run homer with Trout ok game over right? Nope. I bring in Gossage. Get 1 out quick but then proced to give up homeruns to Thames and Sheffield.
Finally in the 13th vs Dibble, Hanley Ramirez drills one off the left field foul pole for a 3 run lead. My only reliever left is Hader who proceeds to finally shut them down. So glad i won that.

I been 3 wins away for months I have no idea why I have not finished it.

Congrats dude. I thought I wouldn’t be able to beat the CPU on HOF but just be patient and work the count. Definitely doable

They don't pick off if you hold L2. Take 2 steps, hold L2 until the pitcher comes completely set. Free base every time

I started watching Pride of the Yankees on Prime last night. A movie made in 1943 about Lou Gehrig. I had no idea that Babe was in the movie as himself - so crazy to see him in “real” life. I’m not an old movie guy, but it’s super cool to watch as a baseball fan knowing they made this movie with his Gehrig’s wife as a tribute to him. Worth watching even if you buzz through it

I got the game lat and haven't finished the babe grind yet. I finished the AL, and 2 games in the NL but have been trying to get all the finest cards and conquest maps done (my son loves completing the maps with me), after that back to Babe.

The Babe was in a few movies. He was a big name back then and people would come to see it just to see the Babe.
My only issue is right now I have votto at first and the dude freakin rips for me. So I would hate to loose that in the lineup with cause I already have an issue with trying to put soto in with Mantle Trout and Griffey

I just started chipping away at this a few days ago and I'm currently on the Diamondbacks. I realized in my last game that if the CPU hits the ball to left field and you throw it to first, they round the bag and go to second even if they have not shot at making it. I just tried it again and sure enough the CPU rounded first, I caught the ball, and I threw them out at 2nd by a couple feet. Is that some new CPU logic this year? I don't ever remember that happening before.

The Babe grind was fun but I could just never get it going with this card. He always kills me, but I've just been okay with him. He's a bench bat, and a good one, but he's not in my starting lineup anymore.
