I would feel weird asking you to look something up for me, because instead of typing the question here I could just type it in another tab and find the answer lol. But I would probably be interested in some of the interesting, or off the wall stuff you might come back with.

Lol, not just lost , but lost 4-0 in Chicago. I remember watching that game. Those late 80s early 90s Yanks were not good.

If you can look up the least amount of pitches in a complete game. I'd be interested to see if it was under 80/85 pitches.

Lol, not just lost , but lost 4-0 in Chicago. I remember watching that game. Those late 80s early 90s Yanks were not good.

The shortest complete game was on August 10th, 1944. It was thrown by Red Barrett against the Reds, pitching for the Boston Braves. He needed only 58 pitches to shut out the Reds 2-0, giving up only 2 hits, and 0 walks. This is also the shortest night game ever, lasting only 1 hour and 15 minutes!
Fun fact about the game: There was no umpire at second base! Apparently that was a thing back then!

Start 1 April 10 vs Atlanta. 7 innings 1 R 0 ER. Pinch hit for in the bottom of the 7th(by Bobby Tolan) even though he was 1 for 2. No decision
Start 2 April 15 at Atlanta. 7 innings 3R all earned. Pinch hit for in the top of the 8th again by Tolan. No decision
Start 7 May 12 Vs Houston. 8 innings 3 R 2 ER. Pinch hit for in the bottom of the 8th by Tim McCarver He lost the game 3-2
Start 9 May 22 vs LAD. 8 innings 1 run but lost the game to fall to 3-4 overall. McCarver again in the bottom of the 8th.
