You need FS Michael Kopech in your rotation

I just held the dude ranked #60 lifetime to 3 runs on 4 hits over 7 IP and it honestly wasn't that sweaty. The 2 seam played off the 102 4 seam is just dirty and he wa[censored]ting every dot I tried for. First impression of this card is he's my new favorite SP.

Isn't great that a player that has 4 MLB games under his belt, has a 1-1 record, and, a 5.02 ERA can get a card that out rates others who've player dthe game for years, have over 300 wins, and has a lower ERA.

Great card, best windup for the analog meter so easy to get perfect releases. Also gotta love 102 and 4 other good pitches around it.

when is the next part of that event? i wasnt able to get him. when they split up the events like this, i really wish they would give us a more detailed calendar, and maybe a way to track our progress for each individual event.

There isn't any next part. Events with progressive releases are usually numbered or indicated on a calendar (like the USA:West/Cent/East event) otherwise. Like you will have to buy Lefty after this week if you want them.
Edit: Kopech is a part of the Genuine Leather event which will be back, as someone else pointed out. I got confused when someone said "Let the kids play" which was the event with Manning as a reward and not Kopech.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to try him out soon, likely when most of my best Prestige-targeted pitchers are too tired to pitch.
Edit: I tried him in a Ranked Seasons game and liked his pitch selection. On the other hand, I really don't like his super-short delivery with runners on base. For some reason, when I threw his slider to the #7 slot to a lefty or #9 slot to a righty, a ball that they should barely have been able to reach got ROCKED, each one (of four) traveling over 420 feet. I'm not complaining, but it seemed odd that the opponent had so much success on one particular pitch out of many. No complaints, though... just might have been a really good opponent or one who set his reticle away and down and kept it there the whole game, as he barely made contact at any point when I threw to the upper third of the zone.

Part 2 starts 12/22 and ends 12/30 so he’s far from long gone

I’m an average player (at best) and I’ve rocked him both times I faced him. Maybe you know how to use him really well.

He's ok but I like Pearson better. I seem to have trouble locating anything but the 4S FB with Kopech at times.

I tried him based on this post. Can’t say I recommend him. Very hard to control. Walks a lot of hitters and gets himself in a lot of trouble. In the game I pitched with him his line was 5ip 4h 3r 4bb 5k 107pitches. If you have Nate Pearson, Kopech is pretty much the same except with a better pitch selection and worse control

In 65 innings with Kopech I have 106 Ks. I love this card
