The pitch speeds in offline game modes and online games are a completely different ballgame (pun intended, again). Online everything comes in much faster, partially also because of lag and other networking stuff.

Online and offline are two different games. SDS have said this on stream.

In BR, most of the time you’re facing a pitcher who’s 70-84 or somewhere around there. I would think that makes a big difference in perception when compared to facing a 99 in RS or events.

I think RS plays P2P, and the others are hosted on the server. That's an assumption based on how FIFA works.

I think this is right. Events and BR are different from RS. Both are very different from conquest. I do ok if I go from conquest to RS because they are SO different that it doesn't play with my mind. BR or events to RS does mess up my timing bc they are close enough that I perceive them as being the same

A lot of the starting pitchers and relievers are also coming in at 98 and 99 with crazy velocity AND control. Everything will feel like a dart now compared to earlier in the year. I feel your pain though. My timing is all off for the first few games until I settle in.
