After all the god aful inflation of tops now and future starts you h/k 9 the man dirty and don’t give him outlier on his FB? And he’s the 60 win trophy, the card should make eyes pop not be like, ehhhh I can live without him..... fix it , make it right

Also you took away his cutter ? Jake A is better , what a joke for an end of the year ultimate prize to grind towards. I don’t need stubs I wanted to use him. Very disappointed

Verlander in 2011 even said that through the first 5 innings of a game he would only throw his fastball between 91 to 95 mph. Then from the 6th inning on he would crank it up to 96 to 100 plus mph! Everyone knows JV brought the 100 plus mph heat in the first half of his career. SDS obviously screwed up. The fact that they go off the average fastball velocity, when they gosh darn know Verlander could sling it 97,98,99,100, and ever higher consistently is criminal. And it’s blasphemous... and so disrespectful to one of the G.O.A.T pitchers

ESPECIALLY when they inflate tops now and future stars to such ridiculous levels, levels that will never be attained. Don’t then nerf actual legends and make them worse than they were in real life...... one of the best pitchers of all time. It must be a mistake , and needs to be fixed

Exactly! Thank you! What you just said says it all. Don’t nerf actually legends! for these future “busts” or “stars” and make these guys with 1 year or less off service time better than a future Hall of famer.

Definitely should have the outlier but it’s based on 2011. He didn’t start throwing a version of a cutter until later in his career.

I’m just being a douche bc I got roasted in another thread for complaining about the exact same travesty done to my boy, he’s spot on but sadly I don’t think sds is going to change the card. Hopefully next year sds gives him the due this first ballot hofamer deserves, maybe add in a new perk boosting velocity on pitchers that are/were known to crank up the velo in pressure situations.

His sig series tigers card last year had his fastball at 98 on his card and had a cutter. What changed?
